I would say Go Eat Worms. There is just something about those sticky, slimy, eyeless creatures that creep my out. And this episode is no exception. The way that Todd encounters these worms, especially in a cavern FILLED with them, is quite horrifying. And then there’s the GIANT worm, which comes out of nowhere and is certainly sinister. The frightening music that is accompanied in the episode is also a bit unnerving. An underrated episode, if I do say so myself!

Definitely Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes. The book ending is unsettling since the Dad brings home a lawn gorilla which ends up winking at the kids which makes you wonder if its going to be good or evil. The show ending has Mr. McCall being turned into a gnome himself which can only mean more trouble for the kids.
The book Say Cheese an Die has potential to make a really scary movie out of. Like the kids going to some warehouse with some weird hobo guy named Spidey having a bunch of weird items that could kill you. Some of the writing also left what killed Spidey up to imagination except mentioning his cold warped face when he died.

I think the werewolf of fever swamp should have been included. It's one one of the few goosebumps episodes that isn't over the top campy, its like a horror movie for adults. There's a good story that has some mystery and twists, it has a great setting and atmosphere, great music, some of the best acting in the series, suspense and great build up to the reveal of the werewolf and overall is up there with the haunted mask for being the darkest episode considering people actually die.

Goosebumps Show Opinion I prefer Goosebumps episodes that decide to do their own thing with the original story. In my opinion “Stay Out of the Basement” and “Night of the Living Dummy II” tried to stay too close to the source material that they ended up paced oddly as scenes and characters entirely were cut. I think doing their own thing with the story while still staying true to the overall plot of the original story works better as they’re able to write a different version of the story that fits better in the 20 to 40 minute mark. Also it makes people who have read the book guessing and also encourages people to read the book the episode is adapted from since the two are different enough that you don’t know what will happen. Also the ones adapting “Tales to Give You Goosebumps” are probably paced better since those stories are short. I also wish they had done more original stories like “More Monster Blood”. The tv show I like “Night of the Living Dummy III” over “Night of the Living Dummy II”; for the book it is the opposite, I like the second over the third.
