You said it Brian, this is perfect for me where “the water just keeps on dripping.” I have the Metro blaster sidekick, couldn’t imagine drying a car without it now. 🍻🍻
Great product review, Brian. This dryer looks like a great tool for any detailer to have at their disposal. I have several Adams detail tools and like their quality and the results I get from them. Keep up the great work.
I use a leaf blower or a small shop blower I got for $25 Actually the shop blower is not much bigger than this Adams it just doesn't heat the air unless it is hot summer day :) Thanks Brain for showing this handy product
Thanks Brian, I've been checking out these little blowers recently. Looks like this one joins the ranks of the Metrovac Sidekick and Bigboi Buddi, maybe slightly more power. The build quality and replaceable filters of the Metrovac might be edging it for me. Then again I might go for a cordless leaf blower like Flex BW 18.0-EC.
I have this and the original one from Adams. I have the bigger one like the metro vac still in the box. I have many Adams products and just received the hot stream carpet and upholstery cleaner. That I got through Amazon I belong to Amazon vine you review products and keep them.Excellent as always Brian 👊🏼
Adams is a cute blower for interiors. For those on a tight budget you can get a little Sun Joe SBJ597E that puts out 155 mph for $17.97 for the exterior.
I have and frequently use the blaster side kick. Great on vents and grills... seems the heated air helps with drying. I don't want to replace my compressor, but my side kick got an awful lot of use when mine crapped out and I was waiting for the replacement.
Thanks for this review. I’ve debated getting one of these. Usually use a leaf blower but mine doesn’t have a stubby tip and it’s kind of cumbersome to use around grilles, mirrors, etc. Looks like this might be a good tool to add to my arsenal
Another excellent video review Brian . I like to use the large Adams air cannon or leave blower, followed by a towel and drying aid. Thanks always for your input and knowledge in all these reviews.
Looks interesting. Also, it looks like an old-fashioned coffee pot. Lol. Next spring will be in the market for some sort of dryer. Thanks for the video, Brian.
I use towels to dry. But if you have a vacuum cleaner then the other side can be used as a blower. All you have to do is put the hose on the other side. Is this feature not available on all vacuum cleaners?
A big question; is it brushless? Or does it have spares? I had the Buddi but found that spare brushes are not available, so when they wear down thats it, an expensive disposable item. Available on full size models why not the hand helds? - unless you know otherwise?
This is little more than a dog dryer. It’s not efficient or effective for drying vehicles professionally or otherwise. However, it’s damn handy for “after drying” crevices and jams. 😊😊😊
I see that you can replace the foam filters with that too (no mention of that with the Adams) - do these blowers noticeably benefit from that after a while?
@Andrew Vickers I've had mine since I want to say 2016. I went to Adam's HQ directly and bought one and they were still at the old location. The filter on mine looks new. I don't use it all the time though
How do you dry your car?
Towels
Towels, drying aid
Towels drying aid and a mini dewalt blower
Drying towels, but this just made my Christmas wish list for jams, grills, seals, etc.
I use an 1110 cfm 220 mph Echo PB9010T.
I love seeing the shop manager. She has such a loving demeanor and loyal to you Brian👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
She is a great sidekick. Bernese Mt dogs are fantastic family members.
@@apexdetail85 yes they are loyal to their owners.
You said it Brian, this is perfect for me where “the water just keeps on dripping.”

I bought this exact mini blower for mirrors and door jambs. Does a much better job than my EGO leaf blower in these specific areas.
Great product review, Brian. This dryer looks like a great tool for any detailer to have at their disposal. I have several Adams detail tools and like their quality and the results I get from them. Keep up the great work.
I really like this little dryer from what I see, I usually use compressed air to get the trapped water but maybe I could use this too
A true unbiased review as ALWAYS.
Looks like a handy little blower!

I just ordered one cant wait for it to arrive !

Thank you for the excellent episode. I use an Airforce Blaster Sidekick portable car and bike dryer and microfiber towels.
Good looking product and Adams makes good quality products. This product looks helpful in grills and other tight areas.

I have many Adams products and just received the hot stream carpet and upholstery cleaner. That I got through Amazon I belong to Amazon vine you review products and keep them.Excellent as always Brian 👊🏼
I use an old & beefy hair dryer on medium heat to dry out the crevices.
I like to use my Milwaukee blowers they seem to do the trick plus cordless 👍
Yet again another awesome video/product review good friend
Thank you! Cheers!
Not to bad when you don't wanna fire up the 2 stage compressor.. I like these tools👍🏻
Right on

Thanks for the review! I was just thinking about one of these this morning for my mobile business 👍🏽
Dewalt leaf blower and popo drying towels or Griots pfm drying towel. 👌🏻🇨🇦
Ego leaf blower- Drying Aid- Eagle 350, On soft Toyota black paint.

Great review!
Thanks!
Thanks for the great review Brian, that is a handy little blower 👍👍
Another excellent video review Brian . I like to use the large Adams air cannon or leave blower, followed by a towel and drying aid. Thanks always for your input and knowledge in all these reviews.
IDK! There's many of there blow dryers out now! Maxshine also makes a good blower!
I was using this instead of compressed air for a bit but I went back to compressed air
Great video never had the need for one. I am a leaf blower guy myself.
Same here...wanted to see if the heated air benefited me somehow.
Sorta neat but also seems a bit unnecessary considering there are leaf blowers. As always Great video ! Love your channel!
I agree.
Thanks for the review. Is this louder than a standard vacume cleaner?
Thank you. Just ordered one.
That would make one gnarly hair dryer. I don't have any hair, but still.
I use a towel to dry with drying aids of course.
LOL...I dont have hair either👍
@@apexdetail85 I know, I watch you on TH-cam just about every day. LOL! A woman would love that S.O.B.
I use cordless dewalt 60v leaf blower.
Mostly dry by towels.
I do have a small Metrovac.
I use a battery leaf blower.
How do you clean air filter?
Side note, I'd recommend using ear protection of you're gonna be using it.
Excellent recommendation.
Great video but I am just going to stick with my leaf blower
Looks interesting. Also, it looks like an old-fashioned coffee pot. Lol.
Next spring will be in the market for some sort of dryer. Thanks for the video, Brian.
If they could make it cordless....I would be fully on board.
Anybody use the Milwaukee Tools compact battery operated blower?
the problem i have with these blowers is the noise factor....
I can understand that. I should wear ear protection more often.
Nice
I use towels to dry. But if you have a vacuum cleaner then the other side can be used as a blower. All you have to do is put the hose on the other side. Is this feature not available on all vacuum cleaners?
As long as debris does not fly out and get you car dirty once again. I am thinking of how dirty vacs can get.
On sale at Adam's for $74.39 right now!
Cordless blower and finish up with dryn towel
Me too
Drying towel & blower
It's on sale right now
A big question; is it brushless? Or does it have spares? I had the Buddi but found that spare brushes are not available, so when they wear down thats it, an expensive disposable item. Available on full size models why not the hand helds? - unless you know otherwise?
No spares were in the package....I can tear it down and find out.

😊😊😊
Need a cordless version
I agree!
What better cut sonax cut max or oberk which more aggressive compound
Sonax by far.
@@apexdetail85 what about oberk and jescar are they similar
hehe you said “11 inches that’s what you have to play with”
😂👍
I just fire up the air compressor
How long to dry th@t size truck?
12 minutes.
I have the MetroVac Sidekick. Better built in my opinion
I see that you can replace the foam filters with that too (no mention of that with the Adams) - do these blowers noticeably benefit from that after a while?

Hey did u see my comment is oberk better than jescar correcting compound
Both well rounded. Jescar has a more involved correction system. More to choose from. I personally lean Jescar.
@@apexdetail85 what about koch h901 and jescar are they similar
I'm not fond of the leaf blower. Too big and bulky. Mostly use towels and supplement with a dog hair dryer.
I like the heated and filtered aspect... but it is too underwhelming.
Have to agree especially at a 100 and some bucks
What is the temperature of the air coming out of the unit?
Between 90...100. Its warm....not extremely hot.
Cordless would be much nicer.
Agreed
Metrovac
Can you dry a car with it where can I get one
Absolutely....www.amazon.com/s?k=adams+mini+air+cannon&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=ur2&linkId=53a2d2b96199efdcfe2267fec1d29c14&tag=apexdetail-20
