Your infantry (despite what you say) look absolutely incredible! They're not to bright, not too dull, not too contrasting and not too boring to look at. They look just like what Soviet infantry should look like!
Thanks! I do think they look okay... I guess it's hard to not be very critical of your own work. Or at least that's how I feel. It feels good when people are so complimentary! thanks!
+Herbert Erpaderp I might add that your bases for your infantry are probably the best I've ever seen. You said you try to convey a story, and you did. Those added sticks and whatnot really make them unique. Your work never fails to amaze me.
Nice collection! (Though I'll easily match that with my Germans :p) What I would add as an overall weathering is some mud or dust on and around the tracks. I don't think you overdid the chipping, but I like heavy weathering :) Those IS-2 are an awesome opponent on the table, faced 10 of them with 8 Tigers and got totally wrecked...
+Neves1789 I have been experimenting with light dust lately, I've never really been able to get mud to look any good at 15mm scale, at least in my opinion. I kind of want more IS-2s.
+Herbert Erpaderp I use the textured paint from tamiya, it has a fine sand grain that seems to work well. Sponging or drybrushing might also work :) Damn those IS-2's :p
A very nice army indeed. I see it leans more towards the mid-late war period and very impressive too. It is similar to my 1/72 Russian Army though when I was half way through I realised I had to do a similar job in winter colours. I like your videos a lot so, keep up the good work. Best wishes.
Most of my British stuff isn't painted. But now I've got the new Armoured Battle Group stuff I plan to build and paint that... so maybe When it's done and I've got more than a couple of Cromwells to show I will do a video like this.
+Kyle Matthes Not really. I have come up with lists before from various sources, but I don't get much chance to play. I mostly just collect models I like and form a big pool from which I can choose units when I do build lists.
great looking stuff mate! i hear what your saying on infantry,i hate painting 15mm infantry exception pscs brit infantry an gun teams(but i dont mind the guns!) tanks are the way forward!

The pink IS-2 is awesome!
+Ashton E It sure is. Anyone that disagrees is a filthy commie! Or something.
Again a pleasure to watch. looking forward to seeing more of your forces. Must confess I stepped over to 28mm because of the 15 mm infantry
+De Gevleugelde Ridder 28mm infantry to seem a lot nicer to paint. Going to start my Bolt Action Brits soon.
+Herbert Erpaderp aah nice. have myself some early war germans and soviets. looking forward to your next vids Herr Erp
Looks great! That pink IS-2 is a great addition!
+Aaron Van Horne Thanks!
That IS-2 is the toughest tank in the whole army!

god Herbert your painting is beautiful
+Shix Lo Why thank you!
you're welcome :D
Please can you do a video of your British models Herbert?
Most of my British stuff isn't painted. But now I've got the new Armoured Battle Group stuff I plan to build and paint that... so maybe When it's done and I've got more than a couple of Cromwells to show I will do a video like this.
Haha! I love that pink tank!
You should use your Pink IS-2 as your Battalion command vehicle. JUST BECAUSE!
+TheCoyote808 I will! It will be glorious!
@@HerbertErpaderp It will be glorious for the Motherland
Desperate measures or red bear?
Amazing!
would love to see more zis-3's. its a gift from god
That pink IS-2 is great! And it is mostly historical, here's the full story on it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monument_to_Soviet_Tank_Crews
+Wyn Evans Awesome. That was quite interesting. Thanks!
+Herbert Erpaderp Maybe you could mold a finger to put on top of it. ;)
+Wyn Evans Hahaa! Maybe I will!
Could you do the same for all your models. I enjoyed this video.
+Jimmy Bob Eventually I can. Everything I have would be a hell of a task. That's why I only included painted models in this video.
This video was pretty cool. I understand how long it would have taken. Those Russian infantry are so much better than mine.
Herbert, I'm beginning to build my army, but I have a question? How do you make tracks in the ground of figures stand?
I built up the bases a little bit with Green Stuff and pressed the tracks of a few different tanks into it.
+Herbert Erpaderp Thank you! By the way Great Job, but why you painted soviet more than others?
P.S. I'm from Russia xD
I have so many flames of war soviet models painted because initially I only had one army, soviet. Plus I really like the Russian tanks.
cool very nice.
Are you using a list?
+Kyle Matthes Not really. I have come up with lists before from various sources, but I don't get much chance to play.

That pink IS 2 Is from Czech Republic
