Mitsubishi Quick Tips: PLC Compile Build Troubleshooting

This video describes what to do when you receive the message "An unusable COM port was specified. Execute again after checking the COM port setting. ES:01808009." within GX Developer or GX Works2 when trying to compile a PLC program offline. This occurs when converting (compiling) or building a project while disconnected from the PLC.
