brings up great memories. lived in Leeds for 3 bloody great yorkshire years and loved every bit of it. My favourite part of England. thanks for the great, tranquil vistas of Roundhay. Truly enjoyed it. And mind you, love the touch of sheer artistry in your filming skills. Thumbs up!
I watched vacations gone by, a longlost Yorkshire lady... and a treasure of memories.... I'm an American now... I had no choice at 4 years old..... this park is sacred. ♥
I live nearby, I really value Roundhay Park. I'm there with the dog or with my kids virtually every day. I've lived in various locations in Europe and I'm not sure many of the more famous parks, e.g. bois de boulogne, even compare to Roundhay Park. It's a privilege to live so closeby.
Hello Robby, thanks for the positive comments. I used Apple's iMovie 08, it's so easy to use but now I'm trying to get my head around Final Cut Express.
thank you for the video! i am doing an investigation and i so needed to have an idea of how this park is since i couldnt find many photos online thanks :) besides its beautifully filmed
@nibblenobble1 Thanks for the comment. The music is Vivaldi's Chamber Concerto in D Major by Eduardo Fernadez, George Malcolm, English Chamber Orchestra.
I live just 10 mins walk from Roundhay Park and I don't make anywhere near as much use of it as I should. I watch this short video when I'm down and need something to remind me that not everything is nasty and brutish in this world.
Thanks, I appreciate the positive comments on the vid'. Squirrels - yeh, I can understand your point and respect it, particularly when you look at the impact they've had on our red squirrels; but then I figure 'hey, they're only trying to make a living like the rest of us and it's not their fault they're here'. And yeh, I kinda get suckered into admiring their antics so, as long as they don't encroach on any more reds, I kinda think live and let live.
Great video !! very nice pictures, i am uploading my video of roudhay park and it will be online this afternoon, please take a look later, i never seen your video before now but i think i did a sort of similar work. I love Roundhay Park !
You have captured it well all my fave and well visited parts of the park of the park . One of the best parks in Leeds..

Splendid video! It has renewed a sense of true appreciation for this great park which I was lucky enough to be born so close to! Wonderful :)
