Gorgeous remodel. LOVE the new color. Opening up the entryway to the living room made such a difference. And the kitchen is stunning.

Could have kept the fireplace and added a bath downstairs. They increase the value of the house.
Or add a gas fireplace back into the room they removed the original fireplace from after the room was reconfigured. I didn’t realize there is no downstairs bathroom. That’s so impractical! They definitely should have added one.

There is more than one bathroom. And one is located on the first floor. Clients decided they didn’t want a fireplace mid way through renovation so we gave them what they asked for. Thanks for your comment.
The house is absolutely gorgeous how lucky you are to be able to live in your family home and have so many memories in it

The house looks beautiful. Wish he had found a way to rebuild the fireplace to keep one in the living room. Probably too expensive to do that, but always great to have a fireplace in the northeast.

why? add an island ? the kitchen functioned well before , yes ....it isn't open as most American kitchens are nowadays , but she said she wanted to keep them . I thought he would open up the wall to the sun room and make the lounge larger .

Yes this is the same Jonathan Knight from NKOTB. Jon became a real estate developer in 1994 when NKOTB originally broke up and even through NKOTB has been back since 2008 Jon still works as a real estate developer and he also has his own farm as well.

very fresh and charming, allmost a bit to cold, but still very pretty...I would ad a couple touches, to warm the house optically up a bit ...maybe here and there, in the niches, wallpaper or something.
La caso quedó muy bien. Increíble remodelación. El color azul no me molesta, al contrario, es un cambio en la paleta de color que usualmente usan en las remodelaciones, así que muy bien... exceptuando el baño, creo que ahí si hubiera quedado bien usar el color blanco, por lo menos en la ducha. Aunque el color del exterior de la casa no le gustó mucho a los propietarios, igual creo que no quedo mal, solo que no es tan usual.

How much did the reno cost?
They did a great job in the restoration of the home and paying respect to the history and architecture of the home! HOWEVER The designer did NOT consider the couples design aesthetic at all! Ive only seen three episodes (that's all they have on this Channel) and each time they used that shockingly bright baby blue on the theme and the beauty coastal look doesn't play well in this houses feel or the couples taste! Keep the host, fire the designer!

A full bathroom was on the first floor it just wasn’t featured on the show 🤪

Why so much green & blue in these colors? I like them, but they are used so much...The homes look INCREDIBLE, but my personal choices in colors are just different. Again, incredible work!

I think the house turned out beautiful. The only thing that concerned me is seeing this is a one bathroom house I think it needs a tub. Shower is gorgeous don’t get me wrong
I would love to own this house. I think in losing the fireplace, I would put a nice wood stove on the porch. The colors are beautiful.

They only do so many rooms. There's a bathroom upstairs. They just didn't show it.
Fireplace? I didn't like the kitchen. It would not have reminded me of the past and my Nana but she liked it. That's all that mattered.
The cost of this renovation is ridiculous! Especially not giving them a much needed bathroom, or even a half bath. What gets me is how Jon judged rock the block season 3. Dave and Jenny, and Egypt and Mike are the best in this business, and I've seen many mistakes in his own show. Just saying.
Hi Carmen, we live in one of the most expensive real estate markets in America. This house was gutted to the studs and completely brought up to code. They did get a first floor bathroom… a full one at that! Lots of spaces don’t make it to the show.
My aunt that lived in Cahokia Illinois now Cahokia Heights Illinois that is how dated the fire place there is has to be at least from the 1960s or 1970s the gate on the fireplace and well you cannot match the wallpaper now you can refurbish the radiators truth

“Our house is falling down, whom should we call for help? I know-let’s call the New Kids!” I didn’t like the kitchen. They’d have been better off with new cabinets. The interior colors were also a bit too saturated, but I’d take that over the usual beige/brown/white you see on this channel.
Keep the host, hire another designer...
