Touch & Go: Gotta Have Quick Hands?

  • Let's take a look at this touch and go advice on this short video.
    It suggests that you have to have "quick hands" on a touch and go. I don't agree that quick hands are a smart idea when learning to fly especially in take of a landings phases of flight.

    In Germany, many students learn to deactivate carbheat while on short final. So you only have to change flaps and powersettings. Less workload.

      Yes we do the same in the UK. In some types the carb heat air is completely unfiltered so having it on on the ground is not great.
