Meanwhile, the Buckeyes just got a commitment from Maxwell Roy one of My Sharona’s number one D line recruits for 2025 whom Sam Webb said was coming to Annie Harbor. Yep, things are heating up on the recruiting front. 😂
People kill me when they talk about Alex passing rating the man has not thrown a pass in the regular football game. You can't go by what you seen in the spring game and also he had a good game that day. He is going to miss so passes just like any other Qb they all do. Once he gets comfortable at the position he will be alright. Even JJ missed a lot of passes and if you dont believe me go back and watch some of the games but JJ made plays when they needed him to.
Lifelong Michigan fan and Michigan alum here, now living in California. Talking about the Texas game already is a mistake. Fresno State is a very good team, and that first game in Ann Arbor is a classic 'trap' game. Michigan needs to focus on Fresno State, not Texas.
I think you’ll see thunder and lightning 2.0 with Edwards/Mullings plus having Benjamin Hall and Cole Cabana. I think the RB room is deep but unproven outside of Edwards and Mullings
Michigan football in the Jim Harbaugh era. He lost 11 games to teams in the Top 10. He was upset 10 times to teams outside the Top 10. He was 3-5 against Ohio State and was afraid to play Ryan Day once.
Suggestion for Mr. Hole. So II see you have your own thread on mgoblog. Basically the thread is an attack on your credibility so I wanted to post something here. It's not that I am on one side of the other or listen to your podcast. Every now and then for a minute or so. That being said, here goes. Look, I understand business and competition. If you want to be 'provocative' and further your reputation among certain fanbases then hold yourself accountable. Be different rather than just be first. Hold your 'sources' accountable. If you make a statement claiming it's 'newsworthy' then own it before and after the fact. Wasn't there a reporter awhile back (I forget the name) who apologized after the fact about getting it wrong and why he got it wrong. He owned it. If you want to make guesses based on other rumors and opinions then just say it's a guess. It's not a fact because your 'source' told you x,y,z and now it's fact. No it's not. It's just hearsay and has no validity. Own it otherwise just say it's gossip and you are spreading gossip rather than informed sources, etc. Thank You.
Michigan media and fans are under the impression that they are a power house. Great season last year with the oldest team in history but its over bro...8-4 season and that will continue for several years.
@Elishanbowman I believed in UM the last 3 seasons. And UM will be a dangerous team again in 2024. But not good enough to get thru that schedule. Texas, Oregon and Ohio State will beat UM. And when u have losses, it's easier to drop 1 more to a hungry team. 9-3 or 8-4. I'd bet $5,000.00 on that
This is that wall they finna hit I said 2years this was gonna happen, can’t recruit at the level to keep this train rolling they rebuild not reload. The offense they run is very unattractive and boring, can’t land top QBs or WRs Michigan has benefited from having older guys it’s was 5 5th year seniors on the OL
How can guest say Orji looked good passing the ball in Spring game? He was not impressive. At best he is average. Only issue is accuracy. Hmm. Isn't that the most important skill for a QB?
Go re-watch spring game 2023. JJ looked worse than anything I've ever seen Orji do. Now consider TCU, Bowling Green, and JJ's first pass against Alabama. His decision making was downright dangerous at times. Now ask yourself if you gave him more leash than you're giving Orji. Now ask yourself why.
Exactly. I'm so sick of people going "all he has to do is be accurate, and we're good!" You bone-head... that's 75% of the job. That'd be like saying "this WR is a great blocker. Now, if he can just run routes and catch balls well, he'll be a good WR."
@@DubLubb Doesn't matter what JJ did in Spring game 2023. He already had a body of work. Clearly, Sherrone did not trust Orji to pass last year. Davis Warren was far superior to Orji in spring game

I agree with the Orji taking some Deep shots every game. Clear out a side and let Moore and Walker run 🚀. It'll stretch the defense 😤
Yeah, but he can’t hit the broad side of a barn.
It won't help if he has poor accuracy.
Watch the player and don't just spew the same crap. He didn't look bad in the Spring game and he's going against a great D 🙄@@jimmy5634

Sounds to me like recruiting has cooled down.

That happens when you pass the ball 20x a game. You don’t grow and get better if you ain’t getting the proper in games reps
Worry about Orji reading the field effectively when passing..Warren looked soo much better in that regard during the spring game
Correct-perfect-we need a passing QB and not a runner-Come on-very little depth-injuries will hurt
Moore is NOT playing this year 9-12 months for torn ACL-lost entire OL
I totally agree, Orgi panicking when the play breaks down, or even before makes me nervous

This is a great point. Any team that’s at least on par with App State and Toledo certainly has what it takes to beat Michigan in the big house
@@SatansShart hah. Funny dig. App state definitely. Toledo, likely not, but can cover the spread
Another concern is who's going to help Donovan Edwards in the backfield.
No concerns, Mullings is more than capable.
I don't think Marshall is on campus yet, so we'll know more about him later
Yeah no concern there. Between Mullings, Hall, maybe a sprinkle of Cabana and/or Marshall should be plenty.
