Gotta love Ginza! I must say I'm gonna miss these Ginza walks when the pandemic is over and you start traveling more. Of course it's nice to see all the new content but this has become like a comforting routine to take these virtual walks around Ginza while sipping my morning coffee.
The absolute entitlement of people in the chat complaining about the video quality and thinking John uses a poor camera! It's a miracle we can get signals from so far away at all. TH-cam livestream outputs in potatovision anyway, but add that to a mobile signal and it will understandably not be that great at times. It's still hugely enjoyable - thank you John. (Rant over.)

Takoyaki is popular now in Malaysia. You can get it by the roadside around the capital city, Kuala Lumpur and suburban neighbourhoods nearby.
I enjoy shopping and eating at the prefecture shops too. Watching you makes my mouth drool especially the yubari ice cream which was good. I buy bottles of sake there too. With all your experience eating takoyaki, you should know never underestimate the temperature. Thanks for the live stream and I hope that Kanae enjoyed the cheesecake.

Wow! Yummy Food. Wish I could get some of this over here in the USA. Although I don't like Octopus so not sure if I would like Takoyaki. However I love ice cream and sweets and melon. I have sensitive teeth so I usually get it in a cup with a spoon.

o how i miss those royce chocolates. they are the best ones ans we always try to buy at least 1 of each variants or flavor.
These shops are such a great idea if you live in Tokyo or are a tourists and have no time to visit these areas.
Takoyaki n loads of wiggly dry tuna flakes how yummy ooops painful palate...again not an expert but yes a bit mushy looking. packaging spot on and wonderful choice of unique snacks. great to see kimono being worn local ladies. saris so comfy. canary yellow Fiat 500 back in the day, pushed it up a steep road lol. pastry n tea always goes well in your case green tea. enjoy

I watched a lot of your live streams and I keep noticing people keep running and walking really fast. I wonder if they are always late for their work lol. Here in the Philippines you only see people running if they are already late or going to be late for their work/school. Sometimes if there's a crime or a theft lol.

John please don't use 5g. The technology is there but the implementation for its accessibility is not there in Japan. The video quality is horrible and makes it unwatchable.

Many years ago, when I had discovered the wonderful flavor of Osaka takoyaki, I was in Tokyo and found a takoyaki stand.
I was elated! Started eating it and spit it out! Not because of the temperature, but because the taste was horrendous.
Thinking it was due to the stand, I tried another takoyaki stand I came across. AGAIN.... I spit it out!
3rd time, I was with a Japanese friend who told me (at that time) Tokyo takoyaki and Osaka takoyaki were different!
