I just picked up my 2021 4Runner Venture on Friday and I’m watching this like, I don’t think I have the balls to start pulling stuff apart and sinking screws in. Maybe after my first scratch.🤣🤣. Just installed on my 2016 4runner. Took probably 45 min. Watched video, good tips. I used a spring punch to mark the side holes and followed the directions. Make sure you have narrow (good) needle nose pliers for holding nuts. You dont want to drop those into the dash while doing the install.
Quality is great and worth the wait for fabrication time. Got mine about 5 weeks after ordering.

I like the idea of drilling the holes on the 2 middle dash screws and passenger side while it’s still locked in place. I receive mine later today so I can’t wait to put it in
