@fireworxz You are totally wrong, because Muslims are not worshiping the stone, rather the stone is meant to represent specific direction at which Muslims should be heading when praying to Allah The Creator of all living beings and nonliving including this stone which Allah sent for this direction purpose (like a Geomagnetic Pole); isn't this in itself a fascinating, that more than a billion Muslims praying five times each day while heading towards specific point in this World? The question which should have been asked is, can the prophet Muhammad (peace upon him) organize such a wonder (which is a miracle by itself) 1,400 years ago?

Also why did muhamad kiss the stone? He was actually paying tribute and respecting the stone. If the stone is not important, throw it out of the kaaba then. And no, it is not a miracle or wonder that 1,400 years ago. At least 1000 years before that people already started using compass for directions. And these were done by proud idol worshippers

The pilgrims performed the rituals this year during a severe heat wave. Temperatures sometimes exceeded 50 degrees Celsius (122 Fahrenheit).

The official Saudi Press Agency said that more than three-quarters of those who died did not have official permits allowing them to be there, and walked under direct sunlight without proper shelter.
People should understand that Hajj permit is for their own safety and being with a guide and a group is a must! The system is to ease Hajj rituals, but sadly some people don’t understand!

They discriminate against pilgrims from Africa and Asia… they barely get enough water, food and air conditioned living spaces.

Not to blame the religious ritual for the deaths...Its purely the failure management of pilgrimage. How come there's pilgrims with & whitout permits....these will lead to disaster to happen for over populated in certain points. Was told that some pilgrims travel do the rituals more often or on yearly basis but the under previlage pilgrims waits for years to have their turn.. its again the humanity common sence to be uphold to give way for other ummah to perform peacefully without hindrance.

Muslims never worship the black stones, kaabah etc. a muslim is not muslim if she/he worships someone/something other than Allah. the stone is believed to be sent down from the heaven. you don't need to kiss it, it's not compulsory..those who think muslim practises paganism, I think you just state it without having proper knowledge about Islam.

I was actually there this year for Hajj. The main issues were 1) the number of people who were there illegally 2) people not knowing that Islam doesn't call for you to be in the hot sun for hours on end getting heat stroke when you could be in a cool/shaded area homie - common sense is mandatory in Islam bro. There were many people from surrounding countries who were there illegally like Egypt and Tunisia. Some people were actually scammed by travel agents in their country who brought them illegally - thats why you have to highly vet someone before you give them your money ... as you do with your home, jobs, etc. you gotta have your bases covered which many don't do - which Islam tells you to do. I even saw people who were from USA who tried to finness the system to be there (bro how you gonna come closer to God by lying and finnessing??). The healthcare system was overwhelmed by the people who were there illegally and many of those people ended up dying and many of the people who were there legally couldn't get the help they needed because the people who were there illegally overwhelmed the healthcare system. There were also many heat warnings that told people, especially the elderly to not travel or walk around mid day, but they weren't heeded by many - which is actually against Islam. In Islam we're told to avoid situations that put ourselves in the way of extreme risk like in this case. Hajj for those who are physically able and have all of the right resources in place and even within Hajj, if you're not able to do certain things you're able to deputize someone (for free) to do them for you so you don't have to go in the heat. Also alot of what people lack is proper education on hydration and how to get the proper support.
