Wonderful videos, Julie. I’m renovating my dollhouse and these tutorials will be so beneficial. You’re so calm when building your furniture, it’s a pleasure to listen to the instructions. I’m looking forward to filling my townhouse with these wonderful pieces. Thank you.
Another beautiful piece. Thank you for sharing :). Can't wait until the 3rd Dolls House Diary is posted and we get to see all of the pieces for the front room together.

Hi, Thank you so much for watching so many of my videos; I'm glad you are enjoying them. Thank you also for taking the time to leave such wonderful comments, they really are appreciated. A lot of other crafters have said that my designs work well in 1/6th scale. I have been busy this weekend working on my third book of tutorials, 'Making Dolls' House Miniatures in 1/12th Scale,' and as soon as it is released - hopefully in the next week or so - I shall be concentrating full time on TH-cam, so stay tuned for lots more videos and if there's anything in particular you'd like to see, please let me know. Best wishes, Julie.
Hi Julie I have a question for you. First off I'm playing catch-up on your videos again. They are so awesome. I'm one of those people that it doesn't make sense to me to make real opening drawers I don't leave them open in real life so why in my dollhouse. So how. Would I do them soon they don't open? Just do drawer fronts before I put the last side on? Would that work? Thank you Julie. Your the best
Hi Tammy, the way you suggest would certainly work. To cut down on some of the pieces, you could also just use a single piece of wood for the front of the unit, again attach it before the final side, and then stick individual drawer fronts onto it, evenly spaced. Hope that helps. xx
Thank you Aleen. I buy my wood from www.modelshop.co.uk but if you're having trouble finding Obeche, have a look at my 'Working with wood' video, where I give advice on other suitable woods and hopefully you'll find one that's available where you are. Hope that helps.
I have the same trouble. All I can locate here (New Zealand) is 3mm plywoods with one good face and one rough. I can not locate thin solid wood anywhere.
Thanks Hennreitta. I bought it from www.modelshop.co.uk but try searching Ebay or any favourite craft store for a Swann Morton craft knife and you should be able to find one.
I'm so confused. I was excited to make this because I'm building a 1/12 scale apartment. It took me a full day to make. It's beautiful, but it's not at all the right scale for the rest of my 1/12 project. It's my fault for not paying more attention to what the dimensions were going to be, but I don't understand how it's 1/12 scale. It's more like a nightstand than a chest of drawers. I'm crushed because I poured a lot of time and material into it and it's not close to the right size. What am I missing?
I'm confused, too. There isn't a standard size for a chest of drawers, so how is this not 1/12th scale? And this would be far too wide for a night stand!
Your measuring ability continue to amaze me!
Nice sideboard. I really love the handles too!
Thank you. The handles are pretty, aren't they.

Thank you Judy. I hope you'll have a lot of fun with the projects.
So perfect!
Thank you Jude.
Perfect little piece!
Thank you again.
Your calm voice and the satisfaction when all the peaces fit together, it makes my stress melt away :)
Thank you so much Jenny, that's lovely to hear.
Another beautiful piece. Thank you for sharing :). Can't wait until the 3rd Dolls House Diary is posted and we get to see all of the pieces for the front room together.
Thank you Sarah, you are very welcome. I'm looking forward to sharing the next diary video! Just wish there were more hours in the day!
Another lovely piece!
Thank you so much.
Gorgeous! As always. You have an impecable taste!

Amazing! Please, what kind of glue do you use?
I use Gorilla Wood Glue, which is really strong and bonds quickly.
Love it...where do you get all your wood? I cannot find them especially the one he. Thanks

Are these model kits?
No, they are built from scratch and a cutting list is given for each tutorial.
They are perfect works of art
I WAS WATCHING THE 1/12 SCALE 3 DRAWER SIDEBOARD/CHEST AND YOU COULD BARELY SEE WHAT YOU HAD MADE
