I absolutely love watching Ciryl Gane fight, everything is just so crisp and satisfying. Much like with Stephen Thompson.
I don't know how Tai will be able to crack Gane's movement. I don't see it being a fight Tai will enjoy. Tai loves brawls, where as Gane fights very analytically.

Tai has a punchers chance, thats about it.
When you look at 1:55 I think it kind of gets Dan Miragliotta off the hook for the recent early stoppage. Dan gave him a lot of time before stopping it in this one and nothing happened. When Dan finds Lewis in the same spot against Sergei Pavlovich and it's not even for the title, surely he is flashing back to this moment + him getting KO'd by Tai Tuivasa and makes the split second decision to stop the fight to save the man some damage. I was mad about the stoppage when it happened but the longer I sit with it, I think it was the right call.
Every ref has made bad calls. When people's health is on the line id rather them call an early stoppage then have these athletes get seriously hurt. And from a financial standpoint losing a fight with less damage allows for a quicker return then being out of fighting for 2 years because injuries

Gane moves so fast. Everyone was talking down at the guy for letting Jones finish him so early, so I'm checking his fights to see his abilities and from what im seeing, the guy is dangerous.

I'm not sure why Derek is so salty about _Big Dan_ because this stopage was perfectly fine and justified. He told him to fight back and all he did was turtle up and took multiple shots.
I love how Ciryl Gane dominated and outclassed Derrick Lewis in this fight, and even doing right in front of Derrick's home crowd. Pretty sure Gane will be the heavyweight champion when Francis Ngannou leaves the UFC.

In your opponent's hometown fighting for the belt and had to deal with his antics at the presser getting all in his face and stuff. And it looked kinda like Derrick did get in his head or made him nervous based on his eyes but.... nevertheless he prevailed. And did it pretty much flawlessly
