- The purpose of this video is:
1) To ask those in support of international protection to consider what is your number and by this, we mean is there any cap you would put on international protection applicants, or would you really burden Ireland with accepting uncapped numbers of migrants; and
2) To review the immigration laws currently in place in Ireland; while also answering the question “What are our obligations regarding those seeking international protection under EU law” - which will then allow us to consider the potential counter arguments that may be advanced to politicians, media etc when they say we are obliged to accept an uncapped number of persons seeking protection under international law.

As a Canadian of Irish background and 67 years old I have seen this before from stories of the wild west. Migration was on a individual basis and people moved across America on a individual basis . But what happened is there was a gold rush in particular parts of the country and mass migration was the norm. People especially men traveled the country seeking gold and silver for the sake of a better life. But the news of a gold rush in many areas of America created a frantic move of people who in turn created a environmental change not seen before where in a few days, weeks or even months have changed a forest into a town by removing the forest for ever. What is happening now is a world wide clame of a western society economic gold rush and people who without knowing are being told that if they run to these western countries by a first come first serve situation.. this unfortunately has become a money making business of transporting people from muslim and other third world countries that they will receive all of their dreams when moving into western countries as soon as possible and no one will be refused . At the same time many none governmental groups will help in any way possible to help you to move to the country of your choice and will be happy ever after. And look at the environmental effects on the land to where they are moving to. Personally I believe that Ireland and I mean the whole of Ireland should only accept tourist and not migrants. Because if not stopped Ireland will become a multicultural country and will no longer be a Irish people country.

If we have no obligation, then we should not put the nation and our people under undue pressures.
It is my opinion that these refugee and asylum laws Worldwide need urgent review as they are no longer fit for purpose and are being exploited regularly by social welfare tourists and economic migrants.
Sure we saw it already with the lads getting multiple PUP payments when not even entitled to a single one, whilst some of us had to wear hats in our own homes as we couldn't afford to heat them, even back then

What people fail to understand, is that the government in Ireland no longer have any control. Just like The Netherlands, our politicians will do the bidding of the people in charge; central banks, the EU and, ultimately, the 0.01%.
If they had a love for their country and the Irish people and had a backbone they could have control. Each member of the government has a self-serving agenda to go into government.
They must act to the benefit of Ireland not other countries if they do otherwise as they have been doing its treason. No salary, no pensions and a proper trial or court martial is the law.

I would have no issue taking a case against the ministers responsible, if I had proper representation in the courts I would transfer my home and car to another so I don't get screwed, then I would pursue this matter.

But since proof of the criminality of the government came from the divorce courts Irish f33 mails attacked Mr. Nolan and you allied with the government so that you could keep the divorce courts Usa.

While Irelands young native population continues to emergrate and current Irish reproduction rates are 1.8 (so population shrinks) ... David MacWilliams in Irish Times 28 Jan 2023 says (for housing) the island of Ireland needs to prepare for a population of 10 million by 2050. If this is what the Gov and EU are planning for Ireland, then logic dictates that this growth can only happen with mass immigration. So using Mac Williams 10million figure it means ... that in less than 30 years, about 50% of people living in Ireland will be new to Ireland (or from at least one parent new to Ireland since 2000). My concern is that this replacement is far too quick. 30 years is just too short a time for such a HUGE non Irish population to be absorbed

Hi Martin, thanks for your support, however, I would never ever initiate another Go Fund Me as I am still dealing on a daily basis with allegations of theft etc and a lot of these comments actually come from people alleging to be on our side. Another legal challenge would not be worth the further irreparable damage to my reputation. People constantly ask why more lawyers are not speaking out etc. I can tell you that many of them look at me and say they never want to be treated the way that I am. It is what it is now, but I have limitations on how much I am willing to sacrifice going forward.
