At 14:08 you said, the sign convention for change in bed slope and energy line has to be either positive or negative. But if you take positive, then the resulting differential equation will not be the same. Will it?
-ve sign for (I.e and I.b) is used as the total energy line and datum line are decreasing..i think u r wrong...if u r correct then do that derivation by considering +ie and +ve ib
