Force Allow Apps On External in Developer Options definitely helps with the speed mine is much faster with hardly any lagging but obviously you have to have a USB Drive or SD Card connected to it in order for it to work. I wish Google would allow you to make a External USB Drive or SD Card as Device Storage like the Nvidia Shield allows hopefully they will add that feature when they Update it to Android 12.
