OMG! I have no words on how to express my love, obsession, crush and surprise about this show. I'm so in love, cast is amazing, dialogues are insane good. Plus Jodie Comer is doing a such wonderful job 👏 And of course Sandra Oh, who we all know from our love-hated show Grey's Anatomy for playling Cristina Yang, is very good.
I couldn't agree more withe everything being said about Jaime/Villanelle...she's seriously, not only the best but also the most lovable psychopath ever and I realize now, there is definitely something wrong with me.

The first episode I saw made me think, at last something as good as 'Breaking Bad'. Sadly the subsequent episode were not quite up to that standard but nevertheless still exceptionally good. Sandra Oh gives a professional account of herself as Eve but the real star by a country mile is Jodie Comer who plays Villanelle. I was glad to see series 3 episode 1 become available on the ABC iview website (definitely worth at least one watch).
Imagine getting killed by Villanelle and the last thing you see is her face. Not bad if you ask me.
I love the show, really love it. But what I want to know is the font they used for the title! Anyone out there know what it is?

I almost agree with you.
But QUALITY always beats quantity.
There are no "filler" episodes in Killing Eve ... it's balls-to-the-wall spy fun from beginning to end!
Whisking you to exotic european locations like France, Italy, Germany, Holland and Clacton ... all in just eight 40 minute episodes.
And yes, I agree, it feels WAY too short!
But the alternative is a 26 episode series with loads of filler ... and tired actors who phone in their performances with tired lines that repeat themselves due to tired writers.
Pacing? RUINED
Quality? RUINED
Fun? RUINED
I hate how short it is ... but that's a good thing!
@@jazzx251 I don't know if you watched Breaking Bad but I consider it one of the greatest television series of all time. The first season was held to seven episodes because of the writer's strike. I remember how disappointed I was because I WANTED MORE! This was followed by three 13 episode seasons and a final 16 episode season. I can tell you that there wasn't one filler episode and the quality was always top notch. You certainly didn't have tired writers because they were glad to have their jobs back! I'm currently watching last year's S.W.A.T. which has 23 episodes. This is admittedly a lot but I don't see where it is interfering with the quality of the series. I personally think 13 episodes is an acceptable length for most drama series.
@@jazzx251 of course I am not saying going from 8 episodes to 22... that is madness, but they can try to reach 13 which is the standard today for good series.

Look at this season's Handmaid's Tale ... 13 episodes, but most of it is pretty much filler - with one story-advancing event happening at the end of each episode.
I still like it though - and will DEFINITELY watch the finale next week.
But Killing Eve was designed to be like this - a short series packed wall-to-wall with juiciness.
I want more of it too - but we should be careful what we wish for!

Nope, that's Jodie Whittaker. She's at least 10 years older and is from Yorkshire. Jodie C is from Liverpool.
@@Trixtah Dr Who is far too safe for Jodie C. Hope she carries on taking on risky characters. She is an incredible actress and would be wasted in something like Dr Who.

This show is called "Killing Eve" - about a frumpy, restricted, unlikeable, desk jockey (Eve) - drawn into the glamorous world of a beautiful, unrestricted, assassin (Villanelle)
You can't have one without the other.

@@jazzx251 Well, Eve didn't have to be dislikeable to be the opposite of Villanelle. Stuffy and restricted would've been enough. And her treatment of Nico has just been irritating.
Sandra acts it exactly as the character is written in the book and script. She's a perfect Eve as Eve was written. I suppose you don't like how she was written-but don't hate Sandra Oh for doing a good job.
