So many people would give up and do give up on dogs like this but you didn’t. I’m so glad these dogs have someone like you in their lives to help them live a good life they all deserve. It’s never their fault, they are like this for a reason… because they want to survive and in her case because she needed to be scary to protect her babies from humans and animals. She did a great job keeping them all alive for so long.
We had a Britney in our lives. (Her name was Lady). She was the most challenging dog I’d ever fostered. It’s exactly like you say: lots of struggle, some terribly difficult moments, mixed with great progress. We never adopted Lady out - because we couldn’t fully trust her to not bite her new family. In the meantime? We gave Lady the best we could for the 7 years she was with us. Hard work, but yes you’re right: it was worth it and we miss the naughty gal.
Thank you is insufficient for your kindness, patience and perseverance. Her puppies owe you their lives, momma knew you were trying to help she was just protecting her babies and herself ❤❤

Please can we have some more updates on Britney, I know that she can’t be rehomed but she’s had such a hard life and her behaviour seems to have improved so much….she’s a beautiful survivor. Champion hill runner, I love watching her! Xxxxx

Niall I reckon Brittany has canine complex post traumatic stress disorder........she hid invisible in that bull dozer bucket to stay safe.....oh Niall she has you loving her and persevering with her. I just know with time the triggers that still haunt her will diminish and become less frequent and I pray Britney wholly heals because underneath that facade of aggressiveness is a beautiful loving girl. God bless you both on this journey, you give her life love and a new way of living and her bliss is evident on her little face as she rest on your tummy. ❤😇🙏👌👍🐶🐕

That's a tough one. I can see she has to burn off a lot of energy to maintain her calmer state. I still don't think I would let her near any children. You do amazing work, that's for sure 💖
Most Thai street dogs have got either Thai Ridgeback or Bangkaew or both of those in them. Both breeds are highly protective of their owners and were bred for hunting and fighting respectively. All three of my dogs are a mix of those two breeds. The last one I rescued is problematic, just like Britney. You never quite know what she’s going to do or how she is going to react towards people or other dogs. She’s completely upset the dynamic I had with the other two. I’m hoping one day she will settle down a bit but it’s more than two years now with no change. I know what you are going through, but you and I know we won’t give up.
IIRC, Brittany is one of your personal dogs, taken in like Jumbo before you opened your rescue land. She seems to be so much better around people and other dogs now. Would you allow her to be adopted by another suitable family?
It’s not Brittney fault it is cruel people in this world who abuse the animals and we don’t know their past is it took me 3 years for me with one dog I rescued so please ask God to give you the live and patience that’s what I had to do and she change me to become and better person
