OOo. Fu!!! on nearly 40 years old soon. Im the son of Golden-era. Era of Commodore! Era of the best, of the best music makers. The best computer, the best hobby. By any standards i would give all to just to get there again!!!! Thank You Jeroen!!!! Thank all of you great people!!!! You know. Amiga and Commodore wasn't just a hobby. It was a life-style as we can see here!
Yep, those really were the days. Musicians like Jeroen Tel, Rob Hubbard, Martin Galway, then characters like Jeff Minter (still going strong), Zzap! 64... Compunet (yes, I was there...) and the whole demo scene. FLD, sprites in the top and bottom borders and then - WOAH! - sprites in the side borders! You just can't relive those days, or explain them to anyone who wasn't there - but this is an awesome attempt :)
0:14:00 It's a remix of "Auf Wiedersehen Monty" (a Commodore 64 game) by Ben Daglish and Rob Hubbard 0:16:36 It's a remix of "Saboteur II" (another C64 game) by Rob Hubbard
Super arrangement and great airsynth from SID god JT :) I was 10 when I had my C64 (made SID tunes myself as well in the C64 scene) and JT always was (and still is) an example for me. I love to play his tunes on the piano. Only my wife isn't too happy with JT sometimes. I work from home and especially when coding I like to listen to SID music. According to her, I played this video too many times haha Jeroen, if you read this: Thanks for this performance and best regards from an old scener and big fan of you in The Netherlands!
Jeroen Tel Any chance of that clean audio upload? Please. I have cut the music from the 1080p mp4 version but i don't like the intro with that reverb of the hall. :D
Jeroen, je was niet de enige Nederlander bij Assembly. Was er zelf ook en de show was geweldig! Een vraag, op welke website of dergelijke kunnen we je volgen? Je youtube account is niet echt actief, heb je Twitter of een Facebook pagina?
i still remember how i was there and i didnt really pay attention to what whats going on the big screen because i was too busy with my computer. then suddenly people around me started to laugh and i looked at the screen and i saw stick figures having sex. gotta say that it was priceless moment.
Arkanoid High-Score music Auf Wiedersehen Monty (Ben Daglish, Rob Hubbard) Saboteur II remix Commando (Rob Hubbard) Firing Up Break Up Liberty Lemmings Robocop III No timing sorry ;)
Fair enough! By the way, is it okay if I post a link to a (320) mp3 of the gig? It's already available as a part of the SceneSat show (or as the audio track of this vid) anyway, I'd post it just to save the trouble in case someone wants it on their phone or mp3 player or something. :)
Can't you extract it from the video? The WebM file for this has a Vorbis track. Or just use JDownloader and download the MP3 version. Or one of the many browser extensions for DL'ing YT vids. Then just cut out the parts you want.
+Gustav Stechmann ... I can't believe you said that (3 years ago) ... life-span is fragile. Just let me TEL you I'm here to make a musical statement, otherwise I would not have shown up on that stage, SIR! :-)
The track name is called 'Firing Up' by Maniacs of Noise (which Jeroen Tel is one of the 5 members). The track starts right after Commando at 22:27, and finishes at 45:11.
bwu2010 thank you very much! I know it starts earlier just wanted to make sure I point out (one of the) main theme(s). Thanx again I spent ages to find it amongst gametunes... :)

What I love about this crowd is... they absorb it their own way... no conventions! :-)
Russia loves you!
Jeroen Tel is one of my idols. This blows my mind every time I watch it.
I grew up with Jeroen's music during the 80s. Awesome musician.

I love watching Jeroen jam to his tunes on the airsynth, its what I do all the time when I listen to awesome music like this :)

Sometimes thinking of moving to Finland; such a cool place! xD Pun intended too.
Absolutely "Grand Master Himself"
Amazing Concert, wish i'd been there!!! :D
Aivan mahtavaa. Nostalgiaa.
Perkele! Se on kaunista! Ihana! Great concert Jeroen :)
Cool music!I feel nostalgic sometimes )
Jeroen Thanks! it's great!

István Nagy If I get the chance I'll upload it to soundcloud. (www soundcloud com / maniacs-of-noise (without the spaces)
What can we expect from the genius who wrote the soundtrack from Hawkeye when he was only 17 years old?
14/15 years old actually. I was born in 1972 and Hawkeye was released in 1987... do the math. 🙂
51:26 beautiful
make that "the high score tune from Arkanoid" - not the main theme. See, what @JeroenTel says in another comment.
Yes, an album will be made... The name of the song @ 45:11 has no meaning since I never released in any way or form. It's part of my set.
And it *will* include that song. :-) Thanks!
I hope to materialize this soon because it's darn due! :-)
Anyone compiled track-list?
awesome :-)
Thanks Pippo! :-)
Cool!
Yeah i figured it out long time ago when i asked it from you on Facebook :P
Thank you darksanches999
1:02:00 Liberty Lemmings (it's a remix of Tel's own tune, made in 2011)
0:19:46 "Commando" game theme (the version covered here is the C64s, by Rob Hubbard)
So many nerds on 1 place :O

Happy happy, joy!
Soo good!
It's a new track, never been released ! :-)
Just notes? 8-bit waves! :-)
Jeroen is that tune from 53:00 onwards still unreleased?

Sorry to say so it is... Should be released right?
+Jeroen Tel happened to find myself here again and i had almost forgot how good that tune is. please tell me it's released now!
+Jeroen Tel happened to find myself here again and i had almost forgot how good that tune is. please tell me it's released now!
Actually I did that. But I was hoping for high quality version.
❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Yes, I know him.
Any chance of saying what the VDJ had running there? Intrigued by the presence of an A1200 :)
Талантливый парень

Wohooooooooooo!!!!!! *dances*
I'm trying to recognize some of the songs while I listen to the set; just check out for my comments :)
Is there a track list for this? Are some songs original for this concert? Because I haven't heard some of them before
Arkanoid High-Score music
Auf Wiedersehen Monty (Ben Daglish, Rob Hubbard)
Saboteur II remix
Commando (Rob Hubbard)
Firing Up
Break Up
Liberty Lemmings
Robocop III
No timing sorry ;)
Could somebody provide a playlist for the whole (or part of the) concert. We've established that the first track is the main theme from Arkanoid.
There's one thing you can't deny.... Robocop III C64 style! :-)
I should release it, shouldn't I?
Fair enough!

I can't believe you said that (3 years ago) ... life-span is fragile. Just let me TEL you I'm here to make a musical statement, otherwise I would not have shown up on that stage, SIR! :-)
