@John Vance I know that seems good these days, but I have only had 2 washers in 36 years. Both were maytags and the first one was still working when we moved. We just didn't want to move it. It was 22 years old so the current one is 14.
I had a Samsung washer machine for 16 years and never needed any repairs. Just replaced it with new Samsung. I noticed quality definitely down across the board when I shopped machines. The Samsung dryer is original and still going strong. ☺️
We bought a Kenmore washer and dryer in 1985. The washer lasted about 22-23 years, the dryer almost 30. I've bought one dryer since and two washers. Washers just don't seem to last as long as they used to, no matter what brand!
My 2017 Kenmore front load washer is LG according to the salesperson. I hate it. A normal load is weighed before it starts. Empty, it calculated 1 hour 29 minutes. It replaced a 2005 Kenmore that lost a control board that cost almost as much as I paid for it. I loved it. Normal load was 45 minutes. I believe it was Whirlpool.
I love this interview. I didnt even know but because I live in an apartment I have noticed differences at the Wash House when doing laundry. This guy should have his own repair channel like Scotty Kilmer for cars except he'll do all househould appliances! looking forward to the next one.
We bought a Speed Queen top load washer after our four year old Maytag broke and wasn’t worth repairing. Going with Speed Queen TC 5 was one of our best life decisions ever. It’s a work horse and well worth the extra $$. Another huge plus that your repairman didn’t mention is that they are made in the USA!
You sped queen will probably run for 20 years without any major issues. They are excellent machines. We had them in our last home for about a year. We ended up moving and having to leave them. New home has typical crap Samsung that are about 5 years old and don’t look it sound like they will last another year or two.
@@farmboy6185 I love my Speed Queen washer. It’s squeaking after 12 years. I think it needs a belt. I’m not crazy about the dryer. I thinks it’s a bit harsh on the clothes. I also have concerns about the lint trap, because it’s just on the surface. There’s no filter that pulls out.
I had two Maytag washers that each lasted 20 years. I had heard not to buy maytags anymore but I didn’t listen. Bought one from Home Depot and after using it twice I had them come and get it. Even if I chose the deep fill option, there would only be 8 inches of water in the tub and I had clothes coming out that weren’t even wet. Also It bounced all over and made a loud roaring noise when on the spin cycle. I finally did more research and was able to purchase a Speed Queen. They say they are made heavy duty like the Maytags were 40-50 years ago. Also they’re the only washer on the market that will actually fill the tub full of water. I’ve had it almost two years and I love it.
I don't want a front load washer for multiple reasons so we did the research on washers and went with a Speed Queen and have been very happy with it. They are a heavy duty washer without all the bells and whistles to break. We have had ours for 9 years and I always recommend them when someone asks my opinion on washers. They ate made to last.
My whirpool top washer bangs around so easily. At this rate, I don't care. It should be able to handle 8 towels. Which I don't think I put that many in it. But it has a fit. Very disappointed with the water situation. I have had to rewash clothes before because they weren't try or something. AKA "regulations" are for the consumer's benefit all the time.

I hope my top load last a long time, cuz I’ll never go to a water saving one. With a husband who works in construction and cement, rural living with outdoor work muddy cloths, pets …..I swear these politicians coming up with these regulations have never done laundry or never actually get dirty! It’s my well water, so leave me have my freedom to chose!
Tawra! You didn’t hype this guy up for no reason--literally the most informative household video perhaps we all needed from someone in regards to things that are major purchases for us. And for many of us, the biggest purchase we might make in a decade! Please thank him on our behalf for his candor, and thank you for bringing him to us! What a gift
I had a GE washer and dryer for 9 years when I replaced them. The sales person at Home Depot couldn't believe it. I bought LG after that. No complaints here after nearly 11 years.
I have also had good luck with LG, but I probably won't buy another when they need replacing because I've heard it is very hard to get parts on older ones.
Good info. I live in the middle of nowhere Oregon. Repairmen do not come out here, I haul my stuff in 70 miles to Bend to get it fixed. No laundry mat for 30 miles. The LG washer was terrible for ranch husband clothes.
Awesome info. I just hope Pistol doesn't put himself out of business giving out these secrets. He has a great personality, very funny. Please let him know that his time and knowledge is greatly appreciated.
Loved this show! Thank you! I bought all Kenmore appliances from Sears Hardware in 1999 when I bought a new house. Kenmore (Whirlpool) refrigerator never had an issue at all. It was great. I gave it away to a friend in 2015 (16yo) because I decided to go with stainless steel appliances (from Sears Hardware) vs. white. It's working FINE still for him as a 2nd fridge. No icemaker issues! My new Whirlpool fridge has been the WORST I HAVE EVER HAD: it had a board issue and froze food. Service contract saved me $$$ as repair company was out three or four times. Repair insurance also offered to pay for any lost food. I still have this thing, but it's just a matter of time. No icemaker issues, YET! I gave away my Kenmore washer/dryer pair to a friend in 2010 because, again, I wanted stainless steel look and bought Samsung front loaders. It worked for her well until she died and I'm sure it's still working today. My new Samsung w/d had nothing but issues. Had to call out repair three times on washer (gasket, leveling bearings), and once on dryer (drum leveler?). Extended warranty from Worst Buy saved me! Otherwise, repair would have cost $$$. Never again will I buy a Samsung appliance!!!
Your repairman is so spot on. Back in 1973 we bought an entire household of Kenmore appliances.( fridge, stove, freezer and sewing machine) they all lasted for over 25 years! BUT, when we decided to remodel our kitchen, of course we went with Kenmore thinking they are really a good product. WELL. not anymore. I think most are made in China now because no one appliance lasted for more than 5 years! The stove quit on Thanksgiving day! and the dishwasher quit on Christmas. In our retirement home we went with Whirlpool and so far so good. five years and counting.
See I couldn’t get parts for my whirlpool dishwasher a month or two ago, and they’re American made. And it was the second time in 3 years my whirlpool dishwasher broke!
I have been waiting for this video with bated breath!!! GREAT INFORMATION!!! Thank you Pistol!!! We are very blessed to have you looking out for customers!!!!
This was a great video thank you so much for interviewing this young man! I've had older appliances for years and they have held up very well, I still have a gentleman that comes and works on them and it is so much cheaper than the new ones and he tells me how much better they are the older ones that is.
This was supremely valuable information that no one that I’ve seen has put out a video on. Thank you. What would be helpful (with him) is a video with some recommendations (broad since I’m sure he doesn’t want to be too specific ) of what to look for and the best way to shop for.
I feel so blessed, my stove, dishwasher and refrigerator are all GE. And my washer and dryer are Samsung. None of them have 111. in the model number. And I have had no problems. Thank you God.
I have bought used appliances (yes with cosmetic flaws who cares) that have lasted and lasted and lasted. I have a extra large"supreme 7 cycle whirlpool dryer" from estate sale marked down to $25 . That was 3 yrs ago and still works great. A traditional Sears large capacity washer from Salvation army $35 still going after 10 years.
This is a great interview. Thank you so much for posting it. My ice maker failed and made a horrible mess, and I decided to never have an icemaker again (inside or outside the freezer).
I use my counter top ice maker from 3 am to 9 pm daily. When we go camping, it comes with is in the motor home. LOVE that thing! Best $99 I’ve ever spent (2 years ago)
Love my Speed Queen top load washing machine! I'll spend what I need on water and power to have clean clothes. I save by not having a dryer. We farm and have dirty clothes.
We’ve had to buy a new gas stove, and dishwasher almost at the same time😭 We had to buy a new washer a couple of years ago and I went with Speed Queen. I didn’t care about the cost (well, a little, ha!), I just wanted a basic no-nonsense workhorse of a washer. I LOVE it! It’s made in America and it’s a commercial heavy duty👍🏼 The dishwasher I got is a Whirlpool, which at the time I got it, the selection was limited, so doing a do-diligence was fruitless because of limited availability! The really stupid part of the dishwasher is that it’s supposed to be an “energy saver”, which means it cycles on and off during the wash cycle. Now, get this……it takes it 2 HRS to complete a load!! How in the name of all that is Holy, can that save energy??!!🤷♀️ My old dishwasher, which was a beast and I loved it, was done is less than an hour AND cleaned much better! I absolutely hate all these new appliances on the market 👎🏻😡
The Gentleman is right about GE appliances. My refrigerator broke down around middle of February and I got to wait 3 weeks for a GE technician to diagnose the issue. This refrigerator is almost new. It doesn’t have two years and now my service insurance is telling me that the cost of repair is higher that the cost of a new unit. After a month, I am still waiting for the reimbursement from the insurance company.
We got a Kenmore fridge. With great trepidation I looked at the manufacturer number. Gratefully it was made by Frigidaire, an American company. We fell in love with Maytag washers 40 years ago. Our landlord had an ancient dryer for us that still did a great job. We bought a set for our own place 27 years ago. The washer died last year (some parts are no longer available) and the dryer is still plugging away. Even in our ignorance God took care of us.
I bought a Kenmore fridge with the freezer on the bottom in 2018, it was made my Frigidaire too, I love the french door and the freezer on the bottom, I have mobility issues and makes it easier to use the fridge part.
And before that, Frigidaire was built by (WCI) White Consolidated Industries, and even before that General Motors Corporation........................Fridgidaire, under General Motors build virtually indestructible appliances, "back in the day,"@@cybervision_1
My daughter bought a Samsung refrigerator and it quit 3 days after the warranty expired. The cost to fix it was going to be almost as much as the fridge cost originally. I love my Speed Queen washer & dryer. I also like Bosch and Kitchenaid.
We replaced a JennAir fridge when it hit 20 years old (came with the house) so we would not have to purchase something in "desparation." We were limited because our space is "counter depth." so there were fewer choices meaning a greater possibility it would have been hard to find a replacement. I do not have real data. but suspect the new one {Whirlpool, no in door dispenser for water or ice and ice maker is in the freezer) is much more energy efficient than what we took out. Glad you have such a great expert to get info from as you select your appliances.
I have an air fryer pan that I got for Christmas 3 years ago and I love it! I use it in a standard electric oven, nothing fancy. Tawra you need one of those pans!
💯 agree with the appliance guy !!! Just bought a GE dishwasher...800 bucks...it's the worst dishwasher I've ever owned...pure garbage. And LG is no better. Thanks so much !!!
Great video.. We bought a Speed Queen top loader (TR 7 ) and we love it. My hubby would not allow another front loader in our house. We had one years ago, did everything right and it still had mold. I did a lot of research and quickly learned if I wanted a top loader to last more than 3 years I wold have to pony up the big bucks for the speed queen. For those who are not familiar, Speed Queen is not sold in the big box stores like Home Depot because of the price point. The washer and electric dryer was $2900. So happy I didn't buy an LG which was my second choice.
Our appliance guy in NH said don’t buy Samsung. The appliance repair guys won’t come and fix them. Our water dispenser rusted! Here in PA, our appliance repair man said buy Speed Queen. And our local appliance store (not big box) apparently reamed out their local ge representative.
I think it just depends if you get one of the better ones. I've had the ice machines on the freezer doors twice and never had any issues yet with them. Knock on wood. LOL When it comes to appliances, it's like a gamble nowadays on getting one that will last. I have A Kenmore oven and a Kenmore dishwasher and they are both still running and working fine. I've had them both around 15 years. And my washer and dryer are both Kenmore and I've had those for 22 years. Though the washer is now starting to leak, which after 22 years it's not a surprise. I think I still got a good run on them for the amount of years I've had them.
My Kitchen Aid dishwasher was horrible. I had it 3 years and had one issue after another. The last straw was when a valve went and flooded mj basement and warped my kitchen floor. The appliance store gave me a full credit, and paid for repairs to my home. I got a Bosch in 2017, and so far, so good.
Haier does own a majority stake in GE appliance but they are made in the USA with factories in four states. I own a GE fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher, that I purchased 3 years ago and have been very happy with them. Consumer Reports gives GE a good rating and based on my experience so far I would agree.
Thanks for sharing this information. Can hardly wait for the video on how to maintain our appliances. I thankfully have a handy-dandy son that works on our appliances, if he thinks they are repairable. He removed our ice maker years ago & custom cut an acrylic shelf to put into the freezer where the ice maker had been.
So far he’s stating exactly what my repair guy just told me as I am now replacing my fridge because the control board is not doing it job. It will be interesting to see if he suggests the same brands as my repair guy.
Whirlpool made my Kenmore Elite refrigerator. I would trust them more than any other of the brands that were available at that time. But the builder of our house chose all GE appliances for the ones they installed (oven, dishwasher, and stovetop). Crossing my fingers they hold up.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Tawra for this video. I'm in the market for a new fridge and washer. I will NEVER buy a fridge with an ice maker again.. It was the first thing to break. Very valuable information. I was also told by a repair man to stay away from SAMSUNG. 🙏🙏
If your Bosch dishwasher doesn't wash worth a hoot, it may need service. I am a technician and see a lot of dishwashers where owners are not informed and have never cleaned the screen filters in the bottom. Also empty rinse aid dispenser will contribute to poor drying. Some dishwashers were not built with a heater for drying. They rely on heat retained by the dishes. Also opening the door before cycle ends completely can allow an air vent to shut , not allowing moisture to escape. In my opinion Bosch makes a fine machine . I have been a proud owner for over 15 years!
This was very informative, thank you! I bought my speed Queen 4 years ago and love it. It was well worth the money to have my clothes come out super clean in a short amount of time.
NOW, I hear this! I recently purchased a top loader (no agitator - new to me feature) by Maytag. I did learn that bigger is not always better in refrigerators. We have to buy tiny, due to available room in our kitchen. We use them til the external falls apart. My friends with big fridges seem to have big problems.
I will say several of our vendors in the ag field operate like GE. They want you to make the customer wait for us to send the part to the vendor to assess and just leave the customer high and dry. We don't normally do that, but then we do lose out on money from the vendor for the labor and such we do to take care of the customer.
This was one of the most helpful interviews I’ve seen. It explains so much. Since I’m a bit older I know what we once had and I now know why I was scratching my head over my new appliances, washer and fridge. Thank God I still have my Dryer working. I first encountered LG, Samsung etc. in my daughter’s new home. Hated all her appliances. Then I needed 2 new ones, it’s been the pits. TY and your guest especially for giving us this information. I shall pass it along to my girls.
The majority of my appliances are GE. They are 26 years old and working great. My mom's are GE also and are 35 years old. Still working great. In both homes they are the original appliances provided by the builder. The exception is the fridge, we both had to replace those once. My Mom's and my fridge are around 15 years old. Mine is the LG french door. I did replace the ice maker myself last year. I called LG and they sent me a new ice maker for around 150 dollars. Not sure what brand I would go with in the future. Had to replace my 30 year old washer and dryer (really only washer because it was leaking) a couple of years ago. Went with Whirlpool. They were the least expensive and had made in USA stickers on them. I am happy with their performance. I've had them for about 5 years and have options as far as load size and water levels. Looking forward to finding out what brands your technician recommends. When I'm in my forever home, I want a professional gas stove/oven like a Wolf. Thank you for sharing.
I purchased a small multi use counter top oven since I'm single, and couldn't see heating (and paying for) the entire large oven for , say, one baked potato, a small cassarole, etc. I do most of my cooking on top of the stove, but the little oven is a big help. I can toast, bake, broil, air fry, etc in it.
Excellent interview! By the end I was asking myself what brands are left that are okay to buy... And of course you anticipated this. Looking forward to your next video!
During the pandemic we purchased a new Whirlpool basic refrigerator/freezer. We had/have an old Whirlpool basic refrigerator and love it. Due to supply chain issues I thought it behooved us to purchase a new one (took 3 months for delivery) in case the old one went bad. We love our new basic side by side. No ice maker or water dispenser. Old one still kicking over 20 years.
I appreciate your interview with this incredible technician. I learned so much about what brands to buy. I am days away from purchasing a refrigerator. The model site info and model explanation will be very helpful. You both saved my husband and me from buying the wrong refrigerator. Thank you
I loved this video and am looking forward to more! I did my research and purchased the top loader Speed Queen and am very happy with it. It had a scratch on the side and was greatly reduced. Once installed, you cannot see the scratch. It also has a 5 year warranty. The installer told me not to use the energy saver option for the reasons Pistol gave and to only cover the bottom of the liquid detergent cap. He also said not to overfill it.
I'm a appliance technician also this video is on point of everything this fellow tech said Samsung always have the same problem frost up in the ice making compartment in the fresh food compartment leaks on the co system LG and Kenmore compressor issue left and right
Thank you. We just purchased the GE Profile Dishwasher and are already having problems. Continues to run for a long time after the cycle is complete and indicates they are clean. Take care
I got a used side-by-side white GE Profile refrigerator a few years ago...an older one with no ice maker in the door. It replaced the crappy stainless steel, practically new Samsung that needed a compressor and was terrible to keep clean. Paid less for the used GE than I would have paid for the Samsung repair. There's more room in the freezer without the bulky ice maker and I can turn the interior ice maker on or off...depending if I want ice or not. Nice, sleek look and wipes clean with a damp sponge. Love it!
Bought a 5000$ LG fridge, the largest capacity made for home fridges....it was nothing but a nightmare from the start. At least every 6 months the repair man was out and I lost all of the food. He said the issue with mine was common with all new fridges. The issue could not be permanently fixed..... thank God I got the 3 year extra warranty. $5000 and the fridge was dead in 3 years 😖 I now have an old school fridge from the early 90's and it has never had a single issue 🤣
Oh goodness…I wish I knew this information before, but glad to hear it all now! My refrigerator went out end of 2020, it took a year to get my new refrigerator because it was stuck on the cargo ship out in the Pacific Ocean. Now I have a ge 😂
As far as the washers, I have a Maytag washer and dryer that my parents bought in 93, this thing is a beast, of course mom never over loaded it and I don't either.
We have everything Samsung never again ! Inglas was the best ! At one time ! And found frige with a ice maker on the door and water ! Brake ! So expensive ti fix! Thanks for great video
I had an old 1968 Whirlpool washer that finally gave up about 8 months ago.. I now only buy old 70 and 80 series Kenmore and Whirlpool washers. They wash well and parts are still around, plus easy to repair. My fridge is an old top freezer Frigidare. By the way I also have a 1959 Kenmore dryer that my neighbor uses.. If I ever need a new washer, it will be the Speedqueen unit you mentioned. We have one at the animal hospital that I work . It is built very well.
I still use my Kenmore washer and drier I bought when my first daughter was born, in 1984. Still going strong. I know if I replaced them I'd go through 10 sets in that time.

I STILL use my Amana ( almond in color) stove and refrigerator and they are now pushing year 32 ❤❤❤
My first fridge was an Amana. We replaced it after about 22 years because it was too big for our house but it still worked fine.
We had one it lasted 23 years
Do they still make Amana products? I haven't noticed any in my appliance stores.

I TRULY don’t understand how people don’t see this logic!!! Blows my mind. “Convenience”is what hooks them i guess.
My mother used to have all Kenmore appliances when I was a kid growing up in the 1960s. They lasted for years. Things sure have changed since then.
We bought a Kenmore washer and dryer in 1985. The washer lasted about 22-23 years, the dryer almost 30. I've bought one dryer since and two washers. Washers just don't seem to last as long as they used to, no matter what brand!

Sears no longer exists.
So long as you check the manufacturer, Ken more are fine. Get whirlpool or Bosch Ken more appliances.
My GE fridge died after five years…my old whirlpool was 20 yrs old. Had to find one to fit the space..only one that would fit….was another darn GE…
My speed Queen clothes washer is awesome. My wooden drying rack and outside clothes line never breaks down!🤣

Its not an appliance, but I have a 55” LG LED flat screen TV for 10 years now and it’s still going strong!
Just remember to clean the screen for the pump. Look for the little door on the lower left front. Then unscrew the plug to the right.
My LG dishwasher is a lemon.

I have a kenmore side by side 20 years old runs like a charm, in my garage for a back up refrigerator!
I have a 1983 gas O’Keefe and Merritt convention oven that is not electric start that was bought from Montgomery Wards and it still works great
They don't build em like they used to...
Had a lg washer and dryer for 20 years left with house we moved love them
I have a Magic Chef gas range that I bought new almost 45 years ago. It still works and looks great!

Kenmore is Whirlpool.
@@genxx2724 Kenmore is JUST a brand name, they are made by at least 5 different manufacturers.
Kenmore doesn't "make" anything.
Whirlpool and Maytag washers now have cheap transmissions.
I still have my side by side Frigidaire Refrigerator from 1991, works like a champ still and my ice maker pumps out the ice cubes :)
Our appliance repair guy also said to stay with American made appliances to make it easier to get parts.
See I couldn’t get parts for my whirlpool dishwasher a month or two ago, and they’re American made. And it was the second time in 3 years my whirlpool dishwasher broke!
@@Dani._ella Plastic parts made in China, no doubt, instead of metal parts.
I have been waiting for this video with bated breath!!! GREAT INFORMATION!!! Thank you Pistol!!! We are very blessed to have you looking out for customers!!!!
Sad to hear GE no longer has quality products. My dad helped make refrigerators for about 30 years. Thank you for all the great info.
I’m 66 years old and my parents always bought GE everything !!! sad now what’s happened to it 😢
They still make some models in the USA and Mexico. This is a little misleading.
@DebKelso7: Unfortunately GE is made and controlled by COMMUNIST CHINA as are many other products!
Great information !! Another great video as usual .
This was very informative. Please thank your serviceman for such a thorough report.
I have some of the fryer pans, for cooking, baking, in the oven. They work great!
Overload of information. Thank you so much for this. This explains so much.
This is a great interview. Thank you so much for posting it. My ice maker failed and made a horrible mess, and I decided to never have an icemaker again (inside or outside the freezer).
The single ones that sit on a counter are easier to deal with and clean.
Top Loader for the WIN!
My speed queen is 30 years old and still working good
Speed Queen was then built under control of McGraw-Edison, a maker, at the time, of high quality electrical appliances.@@nole8923
I have a top-loading heavy duty speed Queen with the agitator. I really love it, but I was not aware that it uses more energy
It's worth the extra electricity if your clothes are clean the first time.
@@lindacornell7881 true
We’ve had to buy a new gas stove, and dishwasher almost at the same time😭
We had to buy a new washer a couple of years ago and I went with Speed Queen. I didn’t care about the cost (well, a little, ha!), I just wanted a basic no-nonsense workhorse of a washer. I LOVE it!
It’s made in America and it’s a commercial heavy duty👍🏼
The dishwasher I got is a Whirlpool, which at the time I got it, the selection was limited, so doing a do-diligence was fruitless because of limited availability!
The really stupid part of the dishwasher is that it’s supposed to be an “energy saver”, which means it cycles on and off during the wash cycle. Now, get this……it takes it 2 HRS to complete a load!! How in the name of all that is Holy, can that save energy??!!🤷♀️
My old dishwasher, which was a beast and I loved it, was done is less than an hour AND cleaned much better!
I absolutely hate all these new appliances on the market 👎🏻😡
Sounds like we have the same dishwasher! I was astounded when it took 2 hours to clean the dishes.
Omg thanks for the info looking to purchase new Refrigerator was thinking of GE not anymore
Love my speed-queen washer and dryer! That’s all I will buy for the rest of my days
Frigidaire is not an American company, it's owned by Electrolux, a Swedish multinational home appliance manufacturer.
We are lucky so far. The amana fridge 20y, the whirlpool duo 22 y, the lg gas stove 22y. But, the time to replace has come ...
I had a refrigerator break one week out of warranty. Frustrating
Terrible.🌸
Great informative video, I am looking forward to the next one, Nice appliance repair man.
Thanks for the great interview! It was very helpful and useful information.
I have a 1948 Western Holly stove that doesn’t have any electronics. It’s match-light. Still works great! 😂
Watch out the gas police will be coming for you.
🌸😁🎈🎉
Thanks a lot!!! This is very helpful 😉 Blessings! ♥️
Our appliance guy in NH said don’t buy Samsung. The appliance repair guys won’t come and fix them. Our water dispenser rusted! Here in PA, our appliance repair man said buy Speed Queen. And our local appliance store (not big box) apparently reamed out their local ge representative.
Thanks for this video. Very helpful and from my past experiences with appliances, so very true.
Very good info! I have a GE fridge we purchased almost 3 yrs ago along with the air fryer stove. So far, so good.
I have GE cafe fridge 5 yrs old. Nothing but problems. I need to purchase a new refrigerator- not sure at this point.
Hey Tawra, I live here in Cleveland, TN. Here where I live is a Whirlpool plant. Wishing you and your family a wonderful weekend!! 😊

Thank you Cleveland TN
Haier does own a majority stake in GE appliance but they are made in the USA with factories in four states. I own a GE fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher, that I purchased 3 years ago and have been very happy with them. Consumer Reports gives GE a good rating and based on my experience so far I would agree.
That's what I was thinking. He's confusing the F out of me
I'm getting the same impression @@bobtheagent99
Thanks for sharing this information. Can hardly wait for the video on how to maintain our appliances. I thankfully have a handy-dandy son that works on our appliances, if he thinks they are repairable. He removed our ice maker years ago & custom cut an acrylic shelf to put into the freezer where the ice maker had been.
Thank you for this. Everyone should see this. Very valuable information.
So far he’s stating exactly what my repair guy just told me as I am now replacing my fridge because the control board is not doing it job. It will be interesting to see if he suggests the same brands as my repair guy.
As an appliance dealer and repair I applaud all of this great information!
Thank you so much Tawra and Pistol! I needed this information! Looking forward to the next video!
Thank you for this informative video. Something different but still money-saving.
Thanks for the information on which appliances not to buy!
This was a very informative interview. I may be having to purchase a new dishwasher soon and trying to figure out which brand is best is overwhelming.
I have Whirlpool two Side by side is working fine for me ! They are over 10 years old no problems!
I have a speed queen top loader. It has been a work horse for 10 years! Never have needed a service call either.
I have SMEG (Italian) and AMICA (Polish) appliances at home. The work and the y look great.
THANK YOU !!!!!! After this I'm replacing my GE dishwasher and my
Samsung refrigerator next week.
I've had nothing but problems!!!!
Excellent interview! By the end I was asking myself what brands are left that are okay to buy... And of course you anticipated this. Looking forward to your next video!

What a FANTASTIC video!! I didn’t think I’d find a better informative video than the last one I watched but this was PHENOMENAL!
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
We have a Wide-By-Side,
I love it
Had it for 9 yrs with no issues and of course they stopped making it.
I appreciate your interview with this incredible technician. I learned so much about what brands to buy. I am days away from purchasing a refrigerator. The model site info and model explanation will be very helpful. You both saved my husband and me from buying the wrong refrigerator. Thank you
Such great info that will probably save us all money and a headache! Definitely taking his advice when it's time to buy👍Thanks for sharing!
You don't need a special pan, use a cookie sheet with a cookie cooler rack.
I tried that but the sides of my cookie sheet were not tall enough and the fries were falling off the sides.
Lots of good information. Thanks.
Take care
Great information, Thank you. Looking forward to the next video so I know what to buy.
Have a Speed Queen clothes washer. Bought it less than a year ago brand new. Love it so far.
This is so timely! I was looking at ovens to replace ours and was considering the air fryer.
Oh goodness…I wish I knew this information before, but glad to hear it all now! My refrigerator went out end of 2020, it took a year to get my new refrigerator because it was stuck on the cargo ship out in the Pacific Ocean. Now I have a ge 😂
I learned a lot!! Thank you!
As far as the washers, I have a Maytag washer and dryer that my parents bought in 93, this thing is a beast, of course mom never over loaded it and I don't either.
Whirlpool and Maytag washers now have cheap transmissions.
We have everything Samsung never again ! Inglas was the best ! At one time ! And found frige with a ice maker on the door and water ! Brake ! So expensive ti fix! Thanks for great video
I had an old 1968 Whirlpool washer that finally gave up about 8 months ago.. I now
only buy old 70 and 80 series Kenmore and Whirlpool washers.
We had purchased a Kenmore dryer in 1983, and it still works, it never needed servicing.
Same!
Thank you! I was waiting for this.
I still use my Kenmore washer and drier I bought when my first daughter was born, in 1984. Still going strong. I know if I replaced them I'd go through 10 sets in that time.
Very informative, thank you! Our appliances will be aging out soon, we kept the old and ugly and they have held up! I'll have to check the brands 🤔.
