Love that you went in depth about every aspect of the figure from the complaints in the community about the ears, the 2 hair pieces, the paint application, the lack of wires in the trench coat, and to top it off you gave us a nice pose at the end. Couple of things... I noticed later on that the silver from the boot treads is coming off on the base and marking it with silver paint. My main reason for getting this over SooSoo is that I knew what to expect. All recent Sideshow figs have been exactly like the prototype. I'm not 100% confident in SooSoo Toys consistency in quality or more importantly, scale. Thanks for watching and subscribing!!
Great review. I’m getting my Gambit in tomorrow. I had concerns about the ears but you’ve made me feel a little better about them. I’m also getting the Soosoo Toys Gambit whenever that drops so I can’t wait to compare the two.
The SooSoo version looks excellent. For me, the more cartoonist design and height of the Sideshow version better suits my collection, and I also like the choice of materials better. Thanks for watching!!!
Hey man! You should get the soo soo toys gambit. Its a really nice one. And i think you would like it. I passed on the sideshow one and got the soo soo toys one, cause of how the big ears look on the head. Thanks for the sideshow review.
I considered the SooSoo for quite a while, as it looked great, especially that facesculpt! I went with the Sideshow as it better matched my other XMen figures, and I also prefer the body, and outfit. Enjoy your Gambit, and thanks for watching!!!
Hello RaysWay. I have never seen any of your videos before but am glad I came across your channel. I have been checking TH-cam everyday this month looking for reviews of this figure. Thank you for posting one of the first reviews of Gambit. I'm trying to decide if this Gambit is good enough to enter my collection or not depending on the quality and aesthetics, considering Gambit is one of my favorite X-Men. Nice review. I totally agree with what you're saying about current sideshow 1/6 figures having a lack of accessories. $5 getting me an extra head is kinda BS. The old school figures sometimes came with 2 or 3 heads and the exclusive pieces made them extra cool like joker fish or a Metallo head. These newer figures are so light. That's why I couldn't pull the trigger on wonder woman. Barely any costume at all and I gotta spend $250 on a pastey tbleague body and a weak headsculpt. I also agree about these plain generic behind stands. Feel like I had to buy it on ebay. How hard is it to print an X on a sticker. Really enjoyed the review. I can't wait to see what Soosootoys brings to the table and how it compares.
I love Sideshow Marvel and DC lines. I just hope doesn´t take longer for more characters like Cable, Rogue, Moon Knight for Marvel and Deathstroke, Green Arrow for DC.
Interesting! Rogue for sure especially with their partnership with TBLeague.. I'd prefer more A-Level characters first (Iceman, Beast, Hulk, Fantastic 4, or Lex Luthor, Aquaman, Sinestro, etc) first. Thanks for watching!
Every Xmen or especially Gambit fans knows Gambit is 1 good looking, charming guy that can sweep any female off their feet... unfortunately this figure, mainly the head sculpt is way way far from being 1. Its ok but could be better, way way much better.
@@raysway1897 unfortunately its lack of options, there are no other 1/6 scale of Gambit now aside from the 1 from SooSoo toys which i dont know will ever be released. Yes Agree with u its subjective, just my opinion though. Liked and subscribed on ur channel, and will continue watching your contents 😊
Respectfully disagree. The only thing better about the Soo Soo version is the headsculpt. The Sideshow body is better, the outfit is better, the coat won't degrade, the hands and wrist pegs are better. And although I like the SooSoo head, it doesn't match the style and aesthetic of any of my other XMen figures. Thanks for watching!!

The ear do sticking out it's better just covers it with longer hair. I'm just disappointed because the soo hoo the ear doesn't sticking out.
