I think the list that mike is referring to is "the highest ranked games in the party game category" (you can get to it by searching in advanced search - checking the party games category and then sorting by rank). The list that jimmy refers to in the end of the video is the list that people voted to be the best part games and to be fair that list only contains some 1100 games whereas the other one contains all of them. Great content! ❤
Nick was very self-deprecating, but he's much more in the know about board games than a lot of gamers. Jimmy is quick, and I would have zero points against him. I would trip on the way to the buzzer every time, [yes, and I know they are sitting...I'm that bad]. It would be fantastic to do something like this again, but take the quick reaction requirement out of it and do a rematch of sorts. You could also do, guess the game from the actual box art, but show only a small portion of the art blown up... Thanks for the fun.
That “mature games like KDM and hate” comment is in SO MANY GAMES! I’ve been noticing those comments for years and your thoughts are exactly the same as mine. I like KDM as much as the next guy but I can see how someone would be turned off by the brutality of it. That’s being said I don’t understand how any of that is relevant for Crokinole haha
I don't think those people are complaining so much about the brutality of it as much as all the boobies, which Crokinole could probably use a little more of, if we're honest.

As far as Euro games go, CoB has a relatively high amount of player interaction. But yeah, when it's strictly tableau solitaire, like so many of them are, it can get old quickly.
