    Your method looks like the one with the neatest result. No frayed edges! Thank you for the video. I’ll be trying it with my next one.

    Love the video! just found you guys and am catching up on videos.. tip - if you lay the cord on the right side of the fabric before you fold it to sew and then sew across one short end (catching the cord) then down the long side you can turn it and enclose the cord at the same time simply by pulling the loose end of the cord and holding the fabric tube lightly. :) Just be careful not to catch the cord on the long seam - the foot should keep it pushed against the fold.

    Seems Putting a pin attached at one end with a long string at one end and pull it through after sewing the edge would help turn the whole thing in one pull.

    You're supposed to be able to cut through a bunch of layers of fabric with that rotary cutter so why not save yourself some time and cut through more than one at a time?

    I love your rotary cutter. What is it called?

    • @SewYeah

      We use Martelli rotary cutters. You can find them at sewyeahquilting.com! :)

    • @Ronibearable
      @Ronibearable 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Martelli Rotary cutters are the best, they come in right hand or left hand. Id suggest you watch the youtube martelli videos on how to use them, because they do have a bit of a learning curve, but I will not use any other cutter. Have used Martelli for many years.

    It's SELvage, not salvage. They are completely different words with completely different meaning. It would be like saying use "two yards of fabricate".
