Here is a compilation of all the endings that I think are most interesting in As Dusk Falls, a multi-generational story about “two families whose trajectories collide in the Arizona desert in 1999”.

Honestly, I have no idea why the comments on this video keeps getting turned off even after I re-enabled it! I apologize to all the people who are trying to comment on the videos once again.
I got a great idea try doing a quarry video about the different choices and kinda have alittle bit of a side by side comparison with it that means having both choices show at the same time like for example Laura helping max on one side and Laura leaving max on the other side
One of my favorite choices to see a side by side comparison on is Jacob breaking the fuel line with chrises reaction to it on one side and Jacob steeling the rotor arm with chrises reaction on the other side
i've having that happen to me to, i think there's something in this part that's inapropriate or something
I knew Venessa will leave Jay because she likes chaos and Jay likes peace... Venessa came with Jay just because she was bored with her life with dad and she left Jay because she also got bored with Jay...

@@Fr0stbyteGamezz yes she was a kind of girl who wanted excitment in her life thats the reason she came with Jay and when the life with him became dull she left… you have to understand her character before arguing…
@@An0nym0u5Snake she wanted excitement sure, but most of all she was dealing with the trauma from her mother and brothers death, in addition to her father being very insensitive and never even trying to understand her. Nothing to do with boredom, more so wanting to escape all her problems.
It seemed like she just missed her old life and had more of a chance of one than Jay, as he was a fugitive and she was considered kidnapped. She wasn’t necessarily bored with him or no longer in love with him. She just wanted something better for herself.

For me was: Jay got away in Canada with Vanessa for a while, he shared a meal with Zoe, Vince opened a flight school and still married with Michelle, Tyler is in prison, Sharon escaped with Paul in Cuba, and Dale was the only one dead. Not that bad.

I hate the worst ending, especially Jay died? He is innocent, its all his family fault, I dont want him to die 😭
On my first playthrough with a friend: Jay was the only one who got away and remained in Canada with Vanessa (for a little while )He also shared a meal with Zoe, Vince opened a flight school but was no longer together with Michelle, Tyler got put on death row and Sharon went to prison (We pretty much knew that you were supposed hide the stuff around the house so Dante doesn't catch her but chose not to because we didn't like her that much after everything) Tyler also wasn't real one when I found out he was planning to leave Jay I picked abandon so fast lol. Also that ending with the grandpa though?! As Dusk Falls Part 2?? Overall amazing game 10/10 and I really enjoyed everybody's dialogue made the game flow nicely there is some very good character development as well.
What happened to Paul? I'm asking cause you seemed to have forgotten the best character in the game

for me Jay ended up alone in Canada because I let Vanessa go at the last moment. looking back at myself when I was 16, she's obviously a reckless rebel kid, and this stunt just wouldn't be worth it in the end. I also refused to believe that Sharon is not manipulating Paul and turned her in, lol. I know in game they get a happy ending on the beach, but I think in real it would've turned out different. (Also for me an asshole cousin is still better than someone that friendzoned you 30 years back and suddenly ready for a relationship when she's in trouble)
Same, the most realistic ending
I didn’t get the interaction to kiss Vanessa due to the fight at the party but was still forgiven, so I wasn’t sure they even got together. But the love heart carved into the fence was a nice touch, as she still admitted she liked him and did forgive him (that and being stuck together for 6 years).
About Jim. Twice early on he was told he looked familiar. And when Jim had a conversation with his son, he spoke of poor choices, gone for 30 yrs. Getting high, dealing with bad people (money). But why they left us an ending with Jim shot? Is either just cruel or they have a DLC planned. But how much of a DLC would it be because everyone is either dead, in prison, or their (where are they now) story explained.
I get the sense that Jim got involved in something illegal with Dante and split with the loot.

We only visited the story in 1998 and 2012, that's not thirty years in my book.

I got a mixed ending, Tyler, Sharon and Jay arrested, Zoe visited Jay and decided to watch his end, but at the moment there was a call and they took back decision to kill Jay, so he lives. Vince and Michelle still together.
But for me: Sharon escaped

I got the one where Jay gets to the border alone, confesses to the park ranger, and he lets him get into Canada. Zoe end's up visiting him when she's older and they have a meal together. Haven't seen it online but it makes sense since my xbox achievement said only 0.47 people unlock it.
It's pretty surprising how many people asked Vanessa to come with them. When I dropped her off the next day my achievement said only 2% off players unlock this.
Whoa, I didn't know that the ranger would let you go since he was set at chasing Jay in my version... I guess it makes sense since Jay shot the cop earlier in my playthrough.
In my first playthrough I also dropped Vanessa at the woods and had a morally good Jay I wish I had gotten your ending, I didn't want to push the ranger over he seemed nice.
@@ChengTeoh I've heard alot of Jay shooting a cop, but I haven't seen it on youtube, when did Jay shoot a cop in your playthrough?
@@arnishsingh the chapter where you play as Joyce's son Ash trying to find the secret cabin... you need to have him reveal the location. Later on in that chapter you'll have the option to have Jay either help the family or leave, I think when you pick leave the family it'll lead to the situation where you'll be faced with the decision to either shoot the cop or surrender to the cop.
If you guys need help with endings, let me know. I have all the achievements and mostly all paths
I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure if this Jay character found himself in a zombie outbreak type of scenario, he would definitely steal the supplies of his group of survivors and then hand it over to bandits, which would lead to the group falling appart and most of its members dying.

Got the first ending but sadly, Vince died because I left him in the car. I thought he'd get shot if I let him out, but as it turns out that if you don't let him escape, the car crash that follows next kills him (not even a quick time event to prevent this ._. ). But at the same time, it's not "that" big of a deal for the story itself because I think that even if you let him escape, Vince doesn't seem to even appear in-person again after the car escape scene (please don't get me wrong, of course it is a big deal for Zoe and everyone else involved, but we players don't get to see him again). The only differences are that he will have a phone call with Zoe at then end (instead of Michelle) and he will have his own flight school, if you decided to not sign the contract. Please correct me if I'm wrong with this, only skipped through the vid really quick to find another possible cutscene with him.
Only other differences I experienced that were different in the video: Tyler died in the cabin and Sharon ended up in prison, but with a shorter sentence.
my vince died in the car too, i got so mad i thought tyler would kill him if i let him get away. I made so many good choices with him so that in the end he died a stupid death :/
I got the best endings apparently., except for Sharon. I made Paul turn her in to Dante. Tyler remained a fugitive, Jay made it to Canada with Vanessa (but she later dumped him, seems unavoidable)
I wonder if there is a way to get Dante killed as well.
Almost the same, except Vanessa left me as a friend and I would chose that again just to keep her out of it. As for Sharon, I had very bad manipulative vibes from her and was sure she was gonna dump poor Paul after he does dirty job for her. Oh well, no biggie.
I knew Jim was Jay's dad when Jay found out Sharon wasn't his mom
My ending was such a cliffhanger dude. Tyler disappeared, Jays mom ran away with that one gas station worker, I left Vanessa, Jay was let off during his execution and Zoe was there to watch it, Bear ended up alone at Dales grave, Jim got shot, Zoe’s dad opened a plane shop with his wife, and I’m confused as to what happened.

In my first save vince died because i locked him in the car, dale died too, sharon escaped with paul.
jay went to the mountains alone (I went to fight with todd and disappointed vanessa :c )
but he was arrested because I didn't want to kill the ranger, I had the option of pushing him into the abyss but I chose to surrender.
I was very sad when I saw Jay's situation in prison, I won't lie I didn't cry, but for his good deeds it turned out that Jay didn't go to the death penalty
I loved this game, my biggest regret was having locked vince in the car, from there my actions started to go wrong

Dale will always die, either shot by sniper if you didnt warn him or get shot during the final motel shootout

My biggest regret was letting Vince go because it didn't make any sense to just unlock the door and let him leave in Jay's point of view...
I didn't like that Vince wasted the rest of his life with his cheating wife by his side, the game never let me make the choice to divorce ;(

My ending was a mix.....I visited Jay at Prison, stood with him till his execution which was cancelled, hence Vanessa was working for TV. Vince and Michelle both alive, Sharon escaped with Paul. Not good, nor bad. after all, a nice experience with this game. Solid 9 for me.
Pretty good first game for a newly formed independent game studio headed by a former lead designer for Heavy Rain & Beyond Two Souls.
How did you get Jay execution to get cancel? Jay ended up dying in mine it was sad lol
@@ejsilva862 You have to avoid having Jay kill anyone to avoid his execution going through. Don't shoot the cop if you happen to encounter one after fleeing the cabin, and don't push the ranger off the cliff.
@@ChengTeoh That's cool to know. I'll try choosing other paths this time. Vince also ended up dying in mine. Would unlocking the car door when the holts took him as hostage actually save him?
@@ejsilva862 Yep, unlocking the door definitely keeps Vince alive.
I'm guessing when Jim left Vince he ended up in Two Rock and involved with the Holts and Dante. Especially Sharon's sister as I think Jim had a relationship with her and had Jay then left when she died during birth and we dont know for sure if Bear is Jay's dad. And Jim tries to disguise himself when he sees Sharon and Dante as well he didn't want to travel through Two Rock wanted to a get an aeroplane. Why he was murdered perhaps someone he worked for in the past killed him.
Umm in the phone call at the end from Jim to Zoe, Jim explains that he is the reason they went to Two Rock in the first place. Michelle is the one who wanted to fly.
I knew Vanessa would leave eventually, it just wouldn't work, besides she's liking "adventure", it was "just" a 16 years old craziness. I feel leaving Vanessa was the more realistic choice, but knowing they cherished those 6 years, I think letting her go with Jay was the best ending for them still.
It was an awesome journey playing through this game, and I almost got the same ending, except that Tyler been sent to prison for life. But the ending didn't feel so good for me. Especially because Vannessa left Jay and of course the inevitable death of Jim. I hope they will release a DLC or a sequel, because it feels so unfinished. But I'm a little bit afraid, because of the games artstyle, it didn't make good profit and I think they will cancel it. But of course I hope I'm wrong, because this game is a masterpiece, one of the most unique experiences that I have ever experienced.
This game was such a unique experience and tbh better than LiS and heavy rain 😋 really hope a second won't be canceled.

In my ending Jay went to Canada alone, not wanting to drag Vanessa to the chaos and jumped alone the falls. Vanessa become a lawyer. Zoe and Jay shared a meal together and she forgave him. Vince remained married with Michele and forgave her, then, he opened a flight school. Tyler went to work in an oil plataform.Sharon ran away with Paul and Bear lived and visited Dale's grave.
I wonder what next game story will be, my prediction is
1. Zoe will be searching for Jim's killer (learning about Jim's past and killers motive) and who the killer is since she study journalism it makes kind of sense
2. Throwback to when Jim was younger explaining what he did, if he was somehow cooperating with Dante and slept with Brooke (Sharon's sister and Jay's mother) which would mean that he is Jay's father
also i would love to see Vanessa with Jay end up together but that depends on the timeline in which the game will take place

How were Tyler and Sharon separated again? I got him arrested when I chose Jay to surrender during the shootout at the cabin. But if the shootout didn't occur and I didn't let him fall from the tree; does he get to leave with Sharon? and if yes, how did they get separated? :o

If little boy doesn't tell Dante about cabin, you don't have a shootout. Jay and Tyler have a fight no matter what I think, but Tyler says sorry after you save him on a tree.
Sharon tells afterwards that bike got broken, Tyler left to hold off the cops and she eacaped. Only in conversation with Zoe and Jay player knows that Tyler made it and not in prison.
in my game: I made the little boy tell about the cabin. when we are in the cabin, jay and tyler fight (jay wins), the police arrive at the scene and jay abandons the family. at the end of it all: jay lives alone in canada, tyler in jail, sharon lives with paul in another country

i got a similar ending to the first one, only difference was Vince didnt open a pilot school, i signed the hush money contract instead of sueing the airline.
I got a variation of the not so good ending, it didn’t feel safe or right to drag her along to Canada since she still had Meemaw at home, so I told her not to come at the end of episode 5.
For my play through: Jay was by himself in Canada and had a conversation with Zoe. Michelle died and Vince opened a flight school. Tyler is on death row. Sharon is in Cuba with Paul. Dale died and Joyce died.

I didn't think I'd like the art style of this game as much as I did in the end. Great acting, could aswell have been an outstanding tv show if you ask me. Kinda had this True Detective vibe for me.
Let's see for me I got Vince and Michelle stay married. He chose a to take the settlement. Jay and Vanessa made it to Canada. Tyler wa son death row and the mom was in prison. And Zoe met with Jay in Canada. I'm thinking my ending wasn't perfect but overall really good.

As for the ending i got : vince died (i regret it but at the time locking the door seemed like the best choice)
jay left Vanessa at the jump (didn't make sense for her to leave also i beat that guy in the party because i thought he was taking advantage of her)

Tyler got away and now works in some oil rig i think? ( As much as i hated Tyler at the beginning I changed my mind when he was on the tree it was clear he was doing all he could for his family even though he messed everything up by shooting that cop at the beginning)
Bear lived he was a real douche but how he cared for jay made me like him (i even helped him with burying that guy alive when he asked me)
Sharon got away with paul (Sharon gotta be the worst person in my opinion she ditched all her children and husband and gaslighted paul into falling in love with her when she needed him)
As for the game at first I disliked the art style and felt the beginning was boring i think alot of people got turned off because of that but i pushed through the first chapter and everything got better and turned out great
I got the best one and worst one too. It’s a nice game and I hope the story keep going. BTW, who is the guy that shoot a grandfather? What’s the secret of grandfather? Is there in story I missed?
There'll probably be a DLC or something released that probably explores what the Grandfather was doing back in Two-Rock, I have a feeling that they wanted to include that in Book 3 of the game but either ran out of time or ran out of budget or something.

I'm assuming that the grandfather double-crossed the sheriff in the past. But I don't think we'll ever know for sure since it seems like the story wraps itself nicely. The only thing that I can think of is maybe if they do an As Dusk Falls part 2 it'll focus on Zoe tracking down the reason why someone killed Jim.

"best" ending is subjective. people don't magically make t he right choices each time. they delude themselves, lie, make bad decisions under pressure. personally I found the darkest ending the most interesting and emotionally impactful. it's amazing how the different choices, result in similar consequences but totally change your perception of the character's nature though.
The best part of this game is that even if you mess up you still have a somewhat good ending. The only person i killed was michelle and i'm pretty sure dale's death is unavoidable. I think it's safe to say i got the good ending i think...might play it again and make different decisions.

I saw in a different ending that Tyler and Michelle dies.. Do you know what choice would trigger this?
You need to get Michelle shot ( Crossroad decision - choose RUN FOR IT ), not take out the bullet ( LEAVE BULLET ) and don't pick her when you have the choice between letting her or Zoe go outside ( Crossroad decision - SEND ZOE ). As for Tyler dying, you need to have the little kid tell Dante about the "secret" cabin so that the FBI agents will be there at the cabin when Jay, Tyler & Sharon at together. When they show up have Jay help the family, fail the QTEs, then try to flee ( Crossroad - TRY TO FLEE ). Hope this helps.
@@ChengTeoh Wait what scene triggers these shoot out scene with Michelle? When I played I only got the choice to let either Jim or Zoe out, not Michelle or Zoe. And the only harm that happened to Michelle when I played was when the school bus crashed into the motel, and piles of wood were on top of her. Sorry for all these questions! I'm just really curious about the other turnouts! And thank you a lot for taking the time to answer my question! It did help! :)
@@ChengTeoh sorry to ask again, but what exactly do you mean by QTE?
@@chrol7446 it was early on when the cops arrived at the inn you are given the choice to RUN or stay still. If you run with the family, Michelle will get shot. My guess is that you might've gotten Jim injured earlier on in the story so that you got the choice to have Jim or Zoe go out instead of having Michelle injured.

Just got done playing this whats crazy is I dated a girl named Vanessa and she looked like the vanessa in this game
I ended up getting, Mother on a beach with the guy from motel, jay living in the forest in canada alone. Left Vanessa after the party the next day, older brother working on a oil rig, middle brother dead in the motel. father has a flight school, mother is dead in the motel and grandpa is murdered by the hotel owners soon all grown up and looking for revenge.
I got the not so happy ending. Now I’m gonna try and get a better ending I just hope heaven forgives me for my shitty choices and I won’t be sent to hell for them

My best ending was 1- Jay didn't 💀 anyone and run away without the girl because she was gonna leave him anyway. 2- the father became a pilot and his wife 💀 because she was a cheater. 3- the mother of the crazy boys in prison because she was the reason for all of this and because she tried to use the good man. 4- the brother survives, for no reason. Happy ending. The second best one was. The boy Arrested Because it was an emotional ending. 😊😊

I've got a feeling that Jim got into some shady business with Dante back when he was younger and fled with the loot. But that's just a guess.
He took a loan from a loan shark to feed his gambling addiction which he never paid back. That's why the Holts robbed the Sheriff's house.

I don't know why even when you save Walkers, Zoe still might answer in this bitchy attitude towards Jay in the woods. Literally made everything to save them, Jay got his family separated, but she is the one playing victim card.
my brother in christ they dragged her into a gunfight-filled hostage situation when she was like 8. it wasn't jay's fault, but he was still there and she was still traumatized. her feelings aren't unjustified at all

On xbox there is a accessibility option to disable QTE, or rather, to make it very easy.
How do you make Sharon escape alone?
Pick to help Sharon instead of Dante ( crossroad decision ), then have Paul fail the QTE. After failing the QTE Dante will end up arresting Paul as Sharon gets away.
