Omg your a life saver I'm a new home owner my bathroom lights went out. By following your video I found something was tripped. It's fixed now thx a bunch
It is better off not to use quick connect. It is a better connection to make to in put a kurl in the wire, and warp around the screw clockwise. You always want a good connection in electrical work.
So the lights in my bathroom won’t turn on anymore. It’s the furthest left switch out of 3 on the wall. The middle switch is to the fan and the right switch is for the red light. Both of those work just fine. I turned off the power to the bathroom and pulled the light switch out and turned it how you did in the video and heard no noise at all. The wires looked fine so I have no idea what’s wrong.
Well don’t have a multi meter so swapped out the switch, then the socket , and beings all my other lights work I’m stuck. Double checked I wired everything the same as when I removed, watched vid and made sure only could be 3 things, then said well they all 3 check out so must be a broken wire somewhere,😪
All the other lights in the condo will turn on and off every where else but the bathroom lights always have turned on and off since I have lived in the condo
I fooled around with mine...I didnt actually do anything and IT STARTED WORKING!! 💡💡👍👍⚡⚡

Very informative. Thank you
Thanks for this! Is it possible to fix the wires that were crackling? How do you fix/repair them? What are those wires called?
Sam another Excellent video👍
Next time I change out light switch I will insert wires. I always found wrapping the wire around to fit under screw was hard. Thank you.
No breaker is tripped my light switch is not letting the bathroom lights come on in the downstairs bathroom
THANK YOU
