- We met Sakis Tolis at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro Sweden 2023. In this interview we talk about history of Rotting Christ, why they got arrested when on tour, his views on Satanism and much more. We are huge fans of the band and Sakis is such a great person, don't miss out on this interview.
We recorded this interview for the movie "In the Shadow of the Horns". The movie is about occultism, mutilation, satanism, true crime (not the Norwegian stuff) and extreme music. We dig deep into the minds of metal bands and untold true crime stories, edited in a new way. We travelled the world to interview these bands: Rotting Christ, Asagraum, Necrophobic, Sólstafir, Gravespawn, Martyrium, Nordjevel, Shining, Misþyrming, Sahhar, Nervosa, Auðn.

i started to listen to roting christ since 96 ,,and i still listening to them at 2024
I have Aztec blood in my veins, and I am very proud of our ancestors, the Spanish conquistadors brought the religion to us by force,
but I still believe in my ancestors, that doesn't make me an atheist or a satanist, that's why I like rotting chrits

YES dude. I am JUST NOW discovering Rotting Christ. I never checked them out because I didn't think Greeks made good black metal. Turns out they make the best black metal on the planet!!!!

What you're doing reminds me of the old-school underground documentaries. I miss content creators like Bill Zebub for example. This is really good, I don't even listen to metal anymore because I feel like the spirit is lost but this reminds me of why I fell in love with the sub-culture.
