CM discusses on flood, health, career and industry

Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma discussed flood preparedness and the impact of the flood on 28 districts and 84 revenue circles. In 2018, 8 villages were affected, and 11 lakh, 34 thousand, and 486 people were affected. The CM aims to assess flood levels in the first and second waves, as well as in each district. The state government has sought help from the Air Force for relief work, and 19000 metric tonnes of relief has been disbursed among the public.
Health-wise, 37 kidney dialysis centers have been approved in Assam, and 50 bedded 22 ICUs have been taken in hand in 22 districts and medical colleges. The Assam government has also partnered with Tata Trust to construct or expand hospitals for the next five years, with a total spending of Rs. 2803 crores.
In terms of career opportunities, candidates of the SC/ST category will have free application opportunities, and a new law will be made by the Assam Legislative Assembly. In the industry, Neccon Power and Infra Limited was instructed to start a hydropower project in Bordikorai, but the project was stopped due to lack of environmental clearance.
