Thanks for your haul video! $15 for a keychain sounds like a lot but the seller is probably not making more than $1 or $2 if that. Tables at big cons are very expensive. If you don't live within daily driving of the convention hall, you have to pay for hotel. Plus you need food even if your home is within driving distance because you're there for the day no matter what. When an artist makes a keychain, they have to send their art to a manufacturer. You don't want to order too many in case they don't sell which runs into economies of scale. It cost more per unit to order less. Unless you are a huge seller, you're not going to order too many. Often vendors barely break even. Then there's the huge labor that goes into actually creating the art. Yeah, this has turned into an essay but i just want you to know why $15 is not too much for an independent artist. Manufacturing costs are no doubt going up too like everything. You have entertaining content thats a lot of fun! Thanks!
