Hey folks! Had fun making this one, so many awesome wah riffs out there and it was hard cutting them down to just 10! Lemme know in the comments which ones you’d have included!
Rusty Cage as a filter, love it. That is a mess of guitars you have there Matt! I still like the wah in the song Black Sabbath by the band Black Sabbath from their first album Black Sabbath released on Friday the 13th 1970. Something about hitting the wah in that song I always get a rush……
Whacko sounds good but.......after using switchless, small and light weight Morley wah pedals for a decade I've no interest in any big heavy wahs with a switch. It amazes me no companies, other than Morley, still have not updated to small, light weight wahs with no switch. So Matt, I don't agree that there's many awesome wahs out there. Any wah that looks like a brick and has a switch is a dud imo. I sold 2 of my crybabies and have 2 switchless Morley wahs :)
Fair enough Peter! Funnily enough I had a Morley for years and I loved the concept of no switch too, but I never got on with the sound of it. Got a CAE wah and much preferred the tone so sold the Morley. After playing the Wahcko, to my ears it's just amazing. My fave wah for sure. But that's the beauty of sounds - it's all subjective. Also the idea behind these vids is although they're a demo, I hope they also inspire people to just play more. Maybe hearing a riff will make someone go "ahhh yea must get my wah out!" Thanks for the comment :-)
@@LetsPlayAll yeah fair enough Matt. It's all subjective on tone but I love Morley Bad Horsie II and the small, light "Classic Switchless Wah". Morley make a lot of different switchless wahs now so you'd likely find something you like in 2022 :)

This is the best wah video I have seen.
Ah thanks so much Michael!
This is amazing. Any chance of chucking up the tabs to the riffs?
Cheers bud! I don’t have time to sort the tabs for the demos unfortunately matey but any tabs I do make go up over at Patreon 😊🤘
Sounds awesome. "SHAFT"...right on...
Cheers Joe! I think that was the hardest one to play tbh haha, very cool riff tho :-)
Mind eraser no chaser YEAH

Man in the Box is whit a Talk-box, but sounds great!
yea didn't have one at the time but i do now! 🙂
Check out 'Let it haunt you(So beautiful)' by Sixx:A.M. It's my favorite wah riff
Oo nice will do man!
What about Mr. Hammet?😁
Haha yea and Mr Vai - they mainly use it for solos rather than riffs and Bad Horsie is super tricky to play 🙃
Tales of Brave Ulysses by Cream or White Room
Custard Pie by Led Zeppelin has a Wah solo .
