FlyExclusive makes a $300 million bet on new private jets and fractional ownership

Fast-growing FlyExclusive is making its first order for new private jets - a $300 million purchase of 30 Citation CJ3+s. It is also launching a fractional ownership program. Its Founder and Owner Jim Segrave promises future orders for Citation XLS+ midsize jets and super-midsize aircraft as he seeks to go head-to-head with market leaders NetJets and Flexjet. Already North America's 5th-largest operator based on fractional and charter flight hours, the Kinston, North Carolina company currently has 85 aircraft.
