I don't think half of these mistakes just come from driving an automatic tbh. 😭😭 She was mixing up signals and lanes, missed big hazards and had her hands off the steering wheel way too much for wayyyyy too long. 💀
You still have to do all those things with automatic…this is just her issues nothing to do with automatic, if anything you should be more aware with automatic
it could be that her mind is thinking about the clutch so her attention is not there anymore
its just lack of awareness that all no matter if its manual or automatic car

I feel bad for her. She got too confident that she would pass which led to her making a multitude of mistakes. It’s rare seeing someone’s main issue being overconfidence when many people tend to get too nervous and not confident in their driving.
She is an automatic driver. She only stalled because of that she doesn't remember how to drive manual well.
I’m not sure how she was overconfident but whatever…. I’m pretty sure she is just sure that she’d do well she never said she’d be perfect.

the uk actually has a really low rate of road accidents, especially fatal ones. Part of that is due to our rigorous license testing.

The stop she did on the first parking job was more of an emergency stop than the emergency stop.

She scares me driving . As fun as she is i would have to tell he to swap seats. She droves like she got given a licence from kellogs. My Dad used to joke my grandad got his licence out of a cornflakes packet . True story he got given a licence wirh no test as they used to just send them out

That's your opinion on whether you think she was funny or not, all I'm trying to say is that people don't need to be getting so hurt by a video that's meant to be fun.
People make worse mistakes, it’s not about the driving or the mistakes, but it’s about her overcondident, self entitled attitude that she wants to pass off as funny, which in reality isn’t at all funny. I don’t think people are hurt, most people just don’t agree to her ways. It’s not a sour gum candy review after all, but a driving test at the end of the day.

I recently had to retake the G1 (paper test for the learner's permits in Canada) when getting my M1 and only just passed-- so many things I hadn’t thought about in over a decade, mostly specific demerit points and fines for things! I was fine for the m portion and signs but it was very humbling and nerve wracking

If you make it a habit from the beginning it's not so much a choice as it is routine. I've been driving for 7 years now, so maybe not all that long in the grand scheme of things, but blind spots are a must. Any time I'm switching lanes, moving off, reversing.. always looking all around the car, just in case! Again, just a matter of habit, really :)

Isn't the better answer to the tire pressure question to just look at where it's written on the tire? Because your handbook or Google is only going to tell you the information for the tire that originally came with the car, but if you are buying a second hand car, you don't know if the previous owner may have changed the tire to a different one with different pressure.

Edit: Okay, that was NOT a good video, as in the driving in the video. This was so hectic and chaotic and borderline dangerous. This would have been great if this was a comedy show and this was being done on a closed circuit with professional drivers as the other drivers on the road, but that's not what this channel is, it's educational on public roads and I don't think it's good to be so nonchalant about other people on the road. Way too fast, way too out of control, quick to panic, if I had the power I would remove her license and send her back to driving school.

@@akhandbharat7175 That's not the point. I know that there are people that drive like her out there and people that drive way way worse. Like the thing that she says about the blind spot checks, most people don't always do them when they are supposed to do it, but that doesn't matter.
My point is that for a mock test, she did not seem like she was taking it serious enough and was dismissing all the faults. While I know that a lot of people may drive a bit similar to her without much care in the world, it's not the right attitude to have during a mock test.
I do stand behind removing her license if a could because just the fact that a lot of people drive like that does not make it right and it's still dangerous.

I've seen enough mock tests videos and this gives me an idea let's say, or better say makes me ask.... Why there are no anual driving test to see if you can continue driving? Cuz honestly i saw too many years old license holders that make minor mistakes or serious mistakes. I get it, it becomes a routine but that routine is dangerous in the long run. Even a minor mistake can cause a massive accident.
To answer Underrated Hijabi's question: yes, I always check my blindspots in the situations that require it.

I'm not used to check blind spot until a car suddenly appear in my side when i tried to switch lane. So lesson have been learned. Nowadays it's become a habit to check for blind spot.

@31:15 Not being funny, and she comes across a lovely bubbly person, but if she is of the opinion that people don't check their blind spots, then that is all the more reason for her to be more vigilant and make sure she checks hers.
Regularly scanning your blind spots and being aware of your immediate surroundings is the highest priority task when you're driving. How else would you avoid collisions?
