What if the breach had taken place prior to the install of a Huntress Agent?

Thanks for the great question! When you install our agent, our algorithms and analysts assume your endpoints are ALREADY compromised so we do not need to be installed pre-incident to find footholds. However, it’s worth mentioning our ransomware canary service only activates after installation so an encryption event before our agent gets installed won’t be as accurate as if we were installed pre-event.
