Dog senses the change of demeanour, from friendly and approachable, to suddenly threatening, I don't care how much padding that guys got on his arm, that's got to hurt, and always remember, doesn't matter how well trained your dog is, keep an eye on young kids with dogs

They don't literally turn into monsters because of a bad day, most of them just get depressed and sad. In fact, pitbulls are the second most tolerable dogs to have as pets. The stereotypes come from criminals training them to kill, this dog is just being trained to protect, kind of like police dogs. In the video, the dog only attacked when the guy actually tried using the weapon, not simply because he held it. A gun is obviously dangerous and the guy pointed it a the kids, of course it will attack to protect. You just think trained dogs can get affected by anything when patience is literally taught to them.

I am pushing 80, had 2 heart attacks, and have been attacked by dogs 4 times this last 14 months. Owner of 2 of dogs, a neighbor, refuses to take responsibility for their damage to me & my 18# dog. So I'm going to post video of these dog's behavior online and tell the world what a heel this dog owner is!
I'm sorry this has happened to you. As a large breed dog owner it's our responsibility to control our dogs. That's sick and sad that they won't take responsibility for what I would blame on the owner. Good luck to you and hope it doesn't happen again.

Depends who’s holding it. A weak person getting their forearm bones crushed while being dragged to the ground might not be able to operate their firearm even if they do, the kids might get away safe. Which is the whole point of having a guard dog.

If you're going to get a pitbull, this is the type of video that folks need to watch, learn, and understand.
Care and effort, but also a ton of real and durable time was taken to train the dog to be effective in the tasks and responsibilities placed on the dog.
You don't just get a pitbull puppy, and have them grow up in a house like every other dog; you take the time and effort to train the dog to be the type of dog you actually intend it to be, and you keep on the training.

Have you ever done or thought about doing bite force testing on any of your dogs I ask cause you hear all the stuff about the Kangals have the highest like 700+PSI and Pitbulls 300-400PSI but heads like yours have jaw muscles like that just makes me curious and if I'm not mistaken the whole lock jaw thing is a myth/legend it's actually they just don't let go and I'm guessing they can tighten and loosen the squeeze without actually letting go of something/someone I know the 3 Pitbulls and 1PitX I've had never got lockjaw on anything
