    Bet you have the 3.08. Perfect with the torque of the 400 .
    Love the chrome dash bezels wish they used them in 67. Muscle Factory in Placentia has anything you can imagine for that .
    Spent $$ there over the yrs . 65s are light...boxed frame 4 link perfect hot rods...and not light over the rear tires like everyone assumes
    If you want to make it handle even better relocate the tank to the smugglers box in the bed.

    The tailgate on these were a big turn off for me, but every year later was just executed. I got a 76’ and the rear end is great but the front end is not it. Overall, el caminos ahead of their time tbh
