A little sad fact, the Hope variant at the beginning is a What If...? variant, in this universe, Hope and a few Avengers and X-Men were killed, the situation was worse than 616
Yes but the card has been changed. She will give a fixed +3 to cards played the previous turn, instead of her own Power. So you can't buff her Power to increase the buff that she gives to other cards.

@@hadencrawford582 I vaguely remember that the card was bugged and the devs couldn't fix it in time for the scheduled release date. They want every card to fit the theme of each season so they decided to wait for the appropriate future season to try to release Firestar again. As for what the problem with the card was, I'm guessing that it had to do with the variable buff that the original design gave to other cards. It was probably not so much an OP ability as it was a literally game-breaking ability. I don't know if you saw what Kitty Pryde did on release, but her original ability to let the player decide when to pull her back to hand (rather than automatically returning as she does now) caused the game to crash frequently, so they disabled the card for two months and fixed it by modifying the ability. So it's most likely a similar situation here with Firestar.
@@ydgmdlu i was there didn’t get the eight thousand tokens because i pinned her at five thousand eight hundred she was removed seconds before i could get her. I just wish they acknowledged fire stars existence or something i was going to get her i had a plan have some faith i was going to get her and blob Nico and Selene. Had to get Blob, Selene, Iron lad, Havoc, Nico. I was just disappointed because i thought firestar was really unique and would have been fun i hope i can save keys so when she returns i will have her guaranteed I’m getting white widow i want that artgerm variant. I know it would be annoying if they never say anything about it. As there communication is not as good as should be some times there still making variants for her she’d have a gorgeous artgerm i was excited for firestar seemed like she would open unique play in decks with her.

Why release a bugged card? The devs learned their lesson with Kitty Pryde.
If I had a nickel for every carnageized Green Goblin variant, I would have 3 nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s still weird that it happened 3 times
