Fiber Flux on TH-cam has so many easy crochet pattern videos... she does an awesome job in showing you exactly how to crochet! It was wonderful to hear Luna skitch around... Carrie is so creative. All the cute sweaters she knits makes me jealous. The new green one is perfect. Every vlog I add more projects to my list. I believe this one I added 4.The two small birds and the one big bird that Carrie pulled out of her stash. The ink circles birds and the bees and also there’s a scary beautiful lifetime project I want to start it’s called And a Garden Grew. By Rosewood Manor. I also pick out a million off of Modern Folk embroidery website. I’m going to do Silk Road and Haleigh and Blammer.

Good Morning Ladies! It’s always such a treat to watch your videos over coffee and stitching in the morning! I just love your banter back and forth, and OMG the stitching!!! Everything both of you show is simply stunning. Caroline, using the coco-loco and the tequila sunrises for the Ink Circles pattern was a stroke of creative genius! I may not be able to resist that one. Kerri, your Peacorn is looking fabulous and your knitting… WOW. I’m SO excited about all the plans for the upcoming year (and more). So I was all ready to go to bed when you two showed up, it's after 1am here in 🇮🇪. I'll just watch the beginning & save the rest for morning - sensible head talking😂😂😂 Well, why be sensible at that hour of the morning, so I settled in & watched the lot. I laughed, I cheered, I am looking forward to meeting you both at the Big Stitch in July. So many plans for 2024. I am so looking forward to following them all.
Your stitching is, as always, beautiful. Caroline, I love that you are getting lots of finishes this year so far. With three large projects on the go, I found I had to take a day recently just to do two quick pieces that I'll make into cards just to have that sense of completion.
I am self taught in crochet. I've actually made a couple of bed sized throws using the corner to corner stitch. I find it impossible to count long chains, so that worked perfectly for me. I've also done the Granny square/Virus square blanket as well. The only issue with me is that I hold my yarn like a knitter & have a tight tension. I went to a class years ago & the teacher just couldn't deal with how I was moving the yarn. It made absolutely no sense to her. But at the end of the day, my granny squares looked no different from anyone else's & she said keep on. I find crochet great for long car journeys as I can neither knit or stitch in a moving car.
Kerri, I absolutely love the colour & the collar of your jumper. Such an interesting pattern. The colourwork looks like shamrocks but that could just be the Irish in me☘️☘️☘️

Oh I’m so pleased I’m not the only one with a Christmas tree still up! It’s fake but I like the lights. All the decorations are down a month ago!
