Every time I think of my weekend 2 at SN, I get so excited, nervous, anxious, all of the above. I’m a first timer, actually first xstitch retreat! My small exchange is done, my table treats are almost done. Not sure what or how to pack…but I will be there! Oh gosh, the plane rides are a total different bag of nerves….I need a beer. See you all soon!❤️

My family usually disappears into different parts of the house. The boys to their rooms to play video games and my husband is either in the living room reading while I stitch or on his computer. Have fun at Stitch North.

I chuckled about the eating your vegetables as to how you view the pattern.... I agree the bottom is the creme brulee! And yes unfortunately to make borders look good and even, the compensation goes in middle, be forewarned on many JDD patterns.... Thanks so much, beautiful stitching, the spool looks fab! And T of S with Roxy Floss looks terrific. Love.

I always enjoy the two of you and seeing your WIPS and finishes, even sort of finishes. I have a question for Kerry.
What is your process for creating a new color, especially given suggestions like "shiny." How do you do test colors, especially when each fabric takes the dye differently? I would enjoy a video on your process, with some shots or video briefs on seeing how you do things. I don't want you to reveal your secrets, but I am just so interested in what and how you go through you process for creating a new color. Please? Thanks for even considering it. 😊

Just to take a moment to let you know that I too am full of whatnots that I don't notice but seem very apparent to my husband... how does that work?! Caroline, I love your idea about the Tin Soldier. I do wish you would mention using Aida more often. Some of us choose to use it and some of us have no option. Old eyes don’t like linen. 😵💫
I like the little bit of lace on the bottom of the dress. 🧡 The antique Needleworker has a new how to video on how to hide the knot on both linen and aida. A must see. Kerri beautiful knitting and Caroline beautiful stitching. Have fun at Stitch North.🩷

I have a few questions, is Roxy Floss cotton or silk? Also the chart you sell In the Dale which is made for your shop, will you have a floss kit available with it? Also one last question, is the floss color fast?
Hi! Roxy floss is overdyed cotton and yes! All of the floss packs can be found in the shop with or without the chart if you prefer pdf which you can find at Cosford Ride Stitchery website. And yes - our flosses and fabrics are colourfast 😊
