There on Hawthorne Blvd in Hawthorne, CA, i remember that street and there at the Hawthorne Green Line Station and they boarded the 40 lone southbound to the South Bay Galeria.
this is when i was in LA, stole a car and drove from MN when I was 16. I even walked around downtown, slept in a parking ramp at some mall, and walked/skated around rodeo drive, even went to the ferrari dealer.
Only in the 90s baby! 9/11 Turned this country into a police state where the American dream lives while you sleep. Great story. Are you stable with a home and job now?
Shows LA before the gentrification. 7:21 Silverlake was a normal people neighborhood. Open streets, calm, but busy and had pockets of authentic hipness. Also very diverse even then in demographics of ethnicities and income. Now...
Short of the sunglasses this place looks the same as the 80s and same as 2015,miles of cars and stucco buildings ,its clearly just rained which cleaned off the city .
nice video Huntington Park is like Downtown LA but cleaner and in the 1970s it had stores from New York and now it looks like the scum as do downtown Los Angeles..
