UGen looking insanely good. All of their players have improved since the last time we saw them, especially Andy who is looking very technical unlike his past performances. Very excited to see what they can accomplish in this tournament. By the way, Haroon actually has been evaded once in WCT2. Someone told me so I went to check and it's true. I was shocked honestly because I did not remember this at all.

The match you’re talking about with haroon is a qualifiers and was about 5 years ago. The qualifiers don’t count towards your official records.
A bit like a fighters pro and amateur record.
Andy has always been technical, he was just too reckless and tried a lot of new things that just didn’t work out at the time. Haha

I've also noticed the UTX guys not noticing (or ignoring?) the offering to shake hands or share a hug with their opponents many times in this match. It always feels awkward when one of the guys reaches to the other after a match and he just turns his back on him... I guess (hope) it's just UTX being newcomers to the sport, making them too focused on their performance to notice other people trying to interact with them 😂
Richard is crazy smooth... It looks slow, but so hard to beat!
Yup, making all the right moves, that's what pays off more than being insanely fast with no game plan 🙃 It even felt like he could have made the hat trick quite easily yet he kind of gave up on the last chase, as in an effort to give UTX some hope... He should have gained a huge gap after Connor's bail at 3:36 but he just seems to slow down a lot on purpose which eventually costs him the third evasion.

I just love how Ugen has such a diverse roster with different styles, advantages, and disadvantages to work with. The team captain who's calm and strategic, the powerhouse exploding in fury who would literally throw himself at you to catch you, the really tall guy who always catches his target, and the short guy who excels at ground play. So fun to watch.

He’s known as one of the best wether you regard him as “sketchy, intense, and reckless” or “an intense technical risk-taker”, he’s great at his craft. Anyone can tell he not only puts in the hours of training, but has a talent and passion for it, too. Respect.

I been watching these for a couple days now. It’s cool to see the different techniques now that I’m starting to understand the game a bit more. Still don’t get the point systems. But do the courts change or is it always the same layout?
Points are only scored by successful evasions. The quad is largely the same and will have small edits between major events

@@marceloantunes998 probs a mix of the fact they have never played and it’s a lot of pressure so slip ups happen more.

When you used to run, tall enough to take less strides and just hop over taller obstacles, and only do straight away paths to keep the distance, it’s not difficult. The moments he tried to be technical like the other players, he did really bad. He doesn’t actually vault quickly, he can’t double back quickly, and he took a lot of the same paths. People don’t understand that this is a Parkour sport, what he does doesn’t interest me. I like true skill, like Andy, Dayne, Joey, Seth W and Seth R, Sliger, etc.
Mainly was tired after because I had a big adrenaline dump. In the next match I play a lot more as I’ve chilled out.
In Holland myself and haroon play all 16 matches against FATA and I wasn’t really tired as there was much less stress.
@@traceurs619 you’re a bit mistaken thinking wct is a Pakour sport. Although Pakour people are the best at WCT it is a separate thing.
Also the taking straight lines and hopping over obstacles only works so much when you’re actually playing on the court. There’s a lot more strategy then I think you understand in this game.

Apparently Kyle's secret is lots of mountain biking, but you can also see that what Richard says about stress and adrenaline is true: watch Kyle after a chase and you'll see him doing breathing techniques to calm down.

What does match point mean?
It means the game could end on this chase because the team only needs another evasion or tag to win out of the 16 chases in the match

@@trustlaks no you can win on 1 point or even 0 and it will go to sudden death. Its the best of 16 chases. The Team with the most points wins. But if say its 15 chases in and the winning team is Evading if the losing team doesn't tag the evader they will loose the match so chase 15 would be Match point. If neither team has scored any points in the 16 chases it goes to sudden death where each team gets one chance to evade and the longest evasion time wins.
