I spent well over a decade obsessing over every aspect of it before even attempting it, and almost 40 years listening to it, I did quite a lot production wise to it, but unfortunately if I showed every piece of the instrumentation I did filmed visually originally (it was a very tough call to cut out some of string parts that I played as well as sections of the synth lead), the cut scenes in the video would have been seizure inducing damn near as the amount of scene changes alone would have taken focus away from the song itself, this video was made not to promote myself or my production abilities as a musician / engineer, but to pay tribute to the fans of the PSB, and to Neil and Chris themselves for inspiring and influencing me to create music of my own!
I do not currently have it up for download, but it can be streamed here and on the 'Quietone' SoundCloud page for now, I may be releasing it as a free download later this year, keep on eye on this page for details!
WOW!!!! This just popped up on my Home Page. AWESOME remix of my fav track, from Pet Shop Boys, debut album, "Please". FANTASTIC creation. Clip is a Winner, too, especially the opening. :) :)

It was very hard to recreate as I only had about 90% of the equipment Chris used on the original (I had to do quite a bit of patch design following routes I obtained based on the original gear that he used and I had to create a multi track out of the original using AI (There has been no remix pack / multistem pack releaed for TDBZ to date, there are also a few parts that I played that I did not film as I had already lost a month to the production by that time also), that is how I got Neil's isolated vocals as well (which I slightly time corrected his delivery on to keep the feel of the original and also bring it into the feel of the new bass parts that I wrote for the song, as well as do a ton of EQ work to his voice to bring back out his sibilance on phrases like "got to have Some money"), I was reluctant to even do this song as I don't own a Fairlight CMI (Nor can I get my hands on a working one in its original entirety, for that matter, I had to use the Emulator II plugin by Arturia for the Orchestra String stabs, which is also a factory preset on the synth via the original floppy diskettes that came pre-bundled with it), but after buying a couple different calculators to play and recreated the 'Two Divided By Zero' parts and finding the one Neil used on the original finally and about a month of obsessing over every aspect of it, this was the result!
As soon as the beat started, it grabbed me, and i had to run with it. I think, in those seven minutes or so, you out-PSBed the PSBs. Excellent job on the remix, great video, and top of my remixes playlist. 🐐
OMG it's flawless! This mix is Absolutly fabulous (lol). Neil's vocals here are live from the Pandemonium Tour (if I'm not mistaken)and I always loved their live version. They already made it great but you took it to the next level! Two Devided By Zero is one of my favourite songs of them. I have a question tho: what is the exact name of that calculator? Thank you much! The vocals I used on this remix are in fact from the original song on the album, 'Please', they are not a rip from a concert / live version, the calculator is a Sharp EL-620, not a 640. Next up dropping in the next few weeks / month, 'Love Comes Quickly', followed by 'Being Boring'.
