    She touches and hits so many bullseye's in this speech.
    There's something old school about her and that's what makes her classy.
    Yes, Jodie, no reality show or press conference from you a la Kardashians and luv ya all the more for it.
    No ever badmouthing from her either about fellow actors or directors, and she's seen EVERYTHING in Hollywood to write a book !
    She keeps it real, low key and good humored, and that's prob how she is when the cameras aren't rolling.
    So many great movies and iconic performances.
    She lets her work speak for a life that's fully lived and realized.
    Finally lost it when she gives that moving tribute to her mom at the end. Bravo !
    Miss ya, Jodie !

    • @kayliahferrero
      @kayliahferrero 10 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      No way is Kristen Stewart like Jodie Foster.Her acting is wooden stiff and she doesn't have the emotional range of Jodie.besides Jodie is smart,funny and sensitive while kristen is clumsy,awkward and lack self confidence.

    • @SpicyMarcoBB
      @SpicyMarcoBB 10 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      Jodie Foster may be awkward in public and quirky just like Kristen Stewart, but when it comes to talent, there's no comparison, Kristen Stewars has none.

    • @reptongeek
      @reptongeek 10 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Kristen Stewart does have talent outside of the Twilight movies. The reason I know this is because she was in Panic Room. David Fincher would never have cast her in that film if she couldn't play that role

    • @kayliahferrero
      @kayliahferrero 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      yeah it wasn't a complex performance it was a teenager playing a diabetic teenager and wow that was sooo complicated to do lmfao

    • @reptongeek
      @reptongeek 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      David Fincher though does do a lot of takes and there is a lot of performance variation in those takes, so I don't think he would hire an actor/actress who wasn't able to give him a wide range

Jodie marries Alexandra Hedison in secret wedding.. Now she's a married woman.. Another secret bash!.. Well.. I think that Judie deserves to live her life as she chooses, and to be happy. I wrote the following not only as a gay woman, but as a gay Jewish woman ✡️. Also, I may have written too much…but it is what it is 😂:
      Perhaps that fact actually means something else about him. Like, maybe he isn’t as homophobic as he once was? Maybe he isn’t actually homophobic at all anymore? His friendship with Jodie may have helped tear down some of his walls supported by prejudice and preconceived notions. Maybe his love for a gay friend and their relationship, and seeing HER relationship, helped to change his heart and mind. After all, she said he saved her too. Meaning at some point he must have told her she saved him. Maybe he’s grown and expanded his understanding and grown as a person. Maybe when he stopped drinking and got sober, he was then lucid enough to actually do so. 🤷🏼‍♀️
      We all F up, make mistakes. Some can have ingrained in them ugly preconceived, stereotypical notions about groups of people they’ve never met; as a result of parents, family, childhood environment and upbringing, indoctrination of religion, instilled belief systems and cultural and family structures. Sometimes they are so deep within, one may not even realize they’re there; or they may usually hide it because somewhere inside them is a conscience that tells them it’s wrong, they know it’s not widely acceptable socially to be a bigot, and they could also feel shame at those thoughts and instilled beliefs. Yet if you add in substance abuse, sometimes there are flood gates that get blown wide open, and all of that hate water comes pouring out. And once the gates blow, you can’t put that flood water back in. It’s too late at that point.
      I’m not making excuses for his prior behavior, bigotry, misogyny, belief system of condemnation and hate speech. It was inexcusable and disgusting. And he has to own it, like we all have to own our own crap. I’m just attempting to present the why behind the what. That why is what needs to be acknowledged and understood before a newly sober person can start to actualize those things, and begin to make healthy changes and choices for the better. Because I firmly believe the average person deserves the opportunity to atone, make amends, change their destructive, hate filled, hurtful behavior and ingrained thought patterns, and earn a second chance. Why? Because People can learn from their mistakes, they can grow, evolve, become better human beings. After all, if we don’t and just stay stuck, in a state of arrested development never learning anything new, what’s the point of life? Would life still be worth living? And what kind of horrible world would we be living IN, with what kind of horrible people, if no one was ever given the chance to do that?
      Blind Hatred, prejudice, propaganda, bigotry, racism-We are not born with any of this inside us; these things are TAUGHT, these things are LEARNED. Which means they can be unlearned too. If not, all hope for humanity would truly be lost. I for one, refuse to ever give up all hope.
