Today I built a battery similar to this. Works great! I used 4c batteries, wire coat hanger, clear tape, a cap from hand sanitizer bottle, and the top cut off from an old dead battery. I cut the hanger wire to length. Bent it up to touch the bottom of the c batteries, taped it to the 4 c batteries, put the old cut off top from old battery on positive end with plastic washer, taped it all together and used a cap from a hand sanitizer bottle as a spacer to make it fit tight and the gun that sat for over 10 years works perfectly:) I'll post a video of it one day.
Sorry for the posts that have gone unanswered. I left this video up for just the idea after I had quit making them, but after reading over the posts I decided I will make 10 to 20 more and I will also put a video up of how I made them. So in the next couple weeks I will post a video and a ebay link where you can buy them. That way if you have the tools and want to save yourself $30 you can make them, if not I have to ask something for these to cover materials and time obviously. See you soon.
I just found an old paslode framing nailer in my father in laws shed. I'll be making one of these batteries in a few weeks. I'll post the how to online if I find an easy way. This is a great alternative to an expensive battery even though you can get one for $45 shipped off brand on Amazon. Hopefully it's as simple to build as it seems.
I just inherited a couple of nailers after my brothers passing. I would love to purchase an adapter if they still exist. Can I get one? how? Thanks/ John F

Any chance you still have any left?
I haven't made them in years.
See my updated post on video.
Do you have any adapters? Thanks
Sorry I don't but I posted a video of how I made mine. The idea is simple but does take some brazing abilities.
If you don't want to make these? Just "Pay It Forward" and show the process.
