- The title song of Genesis 1976 album A Trick of the Tail performed live by Afterglow band.
This song has been on our setlist from the very beginning, with instrument setup differing a bit from the original, replacing piano by a Hohner clavinet.
Written by Tony Banks, the story in this song is based on a William Golding novel "the inheritors".

Some production details: We have used Hohner Clavinet in place of the piano track. It has been this way since the beginning of the band, around 1987. This way, the sound becomes kind of "guitar heavy", as the clavinet is using guitar strings and single coil pickups, and the playing technique is a variation of tapping strings against the frets...
