I would like a comment on how pulling the flute too far interferes with the overall tuning and scale of the flute.
Yup, that's right!! Pulling it out brings the tuning lower, and pushing it in brings it higher. It's good to have it in just the right spot :)
@@virtualwoodwindacademy I know that already. What I’m getting at and need confirmation for a student of mine is that pulling the head joint too far will interfere with the “scale” of the flute distorting the intonation of other pitches.
