Thank you so ❤❤❤❤ much
Hello
Hi. Could you recomend a first book with simple exercises(scales, thirds, octaves…) as introduction to flute? I do Love your lessons
Rubank elementary will probably work!
😢😢😢
Yours doesn't have the different color at the bottom so you can't really show how you aren't supposed to put the whole color on the bottom of the flute in the middle piece and that you're supposed to leave a little color out
You should put your foot joint on all the way so it doesn’t fall off!!! As for the headjoint, you can leave it pulled out a little depending on your tuning
HERE'S THE FULL PART WITH NOTES!!!!! th-cam.com/video/KL7e9lMlmO0/w-d-xo.html
Totally worked for me! Thanks!
fantastic! you're welcome!
Im a begining flutist and i want to be good enough to play that piece one day
Yayyy!!!
Whats the type of the flute? I am not getting this type of flute online?
I am not sure what you mean? What type of flute do you have?
Could you please make an video on assembling the fulte aswell? I have bought an FESLEY flute, but not able to play
Yes!!! Stay tuned
Make a youtube video not TIK TOK

huh?
Can do a video saying the notes for stars and stripes on the flute please.
that's coming up next!!! Amanda (me) will record one
Thank you
I'm still hoping for my first two notes! 💋
you can do it!!!

Fantastic!
Thanks!
Really Great Playing! though playing sousa on a v16 mouthpiece is diabolical 💀
haha! Thanks, I have my V16 M here which is my jazz set-up but just kept it on for the video! It definitely does add a little extra bite!
That was perfect omg
In my head I hear the rest of the band playibg
You both are so talented!!! 2 Best Friends who love music and inspiring the next generation and community of musicians. A true Glinda and Elphaba friendship!!
Wow
how can you read the notes so fast, I'm a one year saxo player and I still can't read the notes so fast
This really ain't that fast m8
This isn't fast at all. One year isn't a lot of time at all
Wait until bro gets into music with 160, 170 bpm
@@azerm9 wow, It will be a nuclear massive destruction
Hi, thanks for the reply! This tune sounds fast since it's in cut time, but believe it or not the song goes even faster at tempo (half note = 120 and up, I have a version of that on our channel too!) Over time, slow careful practice will help you be able to play faster so stick with it!
LOL, of course what I hear while you are singing and counting is my pic part! Enjoyed listening!
haha thanks so much!!
that's fantastic!
me encantó, muy bueno!
thank you!
Beleza execução 👏👏 Brasil 😊🇧🇷🇧🇷
I've been scrolling through TH-cam, and there's so much bad stuff going around, this was a nice breather. so thank you. I need this.
I can play the first half of the entire piece with no issues but when I get to the Ab and onwards it's a mess. I'm having a hard time getting those high notes.
I understand! It’s tricky up there
This is amazing!!! Such an iconic part. Brava. I'm sure you played this a lot in Marching Band.
Awww thank you!! I played it a lot in youth orchestra- fun fact, I’ve actually NEVER played in a marching band 🤣 my high school and colleges didn’t have them
@@virtualwoodwindacademy No way!!! Sure there's also lot of community ones out there too.
Brava!!!!!
This is incredible!!! I'm mainly a singer but I just started picking up the saxophone 4 years during the pandemic...... and now expanding to clarinet for aa year. These tips and videos are so helpful. I'm trying to get better at sightreading music. With singing, I was able to learn music by ear. Now to expand on that theory is truly a helping tool in the long run both for my new woodwind skills and my voice.
Excellent strategy Amanda-thanks! I took a similar approach recently to a tricky clarinet passage in “Uranus” from Holst’s “The Planets,” and was amazed at how understanding what I was attempting from a music theory perspective, rather than just plowing through endless repetitions of the notes, made it totally manageable! Looking forward to next week’s sessions. Thanks to you and Ana for always looking out for us woodwind players!
What a beautiful smile.
