Although I don't like the formation and certainly the plastic identity of RB Leipzig, you can't fault them how well they're run as a club and the sustainable ambition they have unlike big traditional clubs who are embarrassing themselves such as VFB Stuttgart, Schalke and HSV. 😬
I get that the club doesn't have long history and was created "artificially" by a company, but the city itself is very old and the cooperate involvement is no worse than any other big club selling their soul to the highest bidder. I would certainly take Red Bull over all the Chinese Investors, Russian Oligarchs or Arab Emirs that are the economic foundation of most other big clubs.
Grumblesnake Red Bull were smart by buying a team in a major city in East Germany because the Bundesliga clearly lacks teams from that side of Germany so in some ways I respect RB Leipzig and I hope they win the Cup because anytime seeing Bayern Munich lose is great for German football. Hopefully Dortmund will win the Bundesliga too so the Super Cup is finally not contested by the Bavarians.
@@aidygooner, definitely, having one team dominate every season simple isn't healthy. So I'm certainly rooting for Dortmund too. Hopefully that 5-0 defeat was more of a fluke than an indication of strength.
And Red Bull didn't come like "hey, we have money, let's buy every player we want for the price they ask" (Like PSG). They have many players who come from the process in Regionaliga, 3. Liga and 2. Bundesliga or young players without minutes in other teams. They have the money but also a work policy that I love.
I'm worried that the 3-3 draw at home against Hoffenheim when they pathetically threw away a 3-0 lead will cost them the Bundesliga title. 😢 Bayern will rebuild and be stronger next season unless they fail to attract good quality replacements so Dortmund have to win it this season.

I just wished that Leipzig could score a couple of goals in the DFB final, and sent the game into OT! I am normally a Bayern fan, but i wanted some more DRAMA out of the final game, and NOT just another one-sided game. I actually like Leipzig a lot....but at the same time i've always been a loyal fan of Bayern, so it goes without saying.

Mike Pachón RED BULL Leipzig (just like the other Red Bull sports teams) is all about commercials. Clubs like Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and outside German like PSV were founded by a local company in the city which is different. The fact that Leipzig were formed the last time HSV reached the semifinal says it all. 😂
However, I do have respect for Leipzig on how they're run as a club with their youth development and ambitions unlike clubs like HSV and Stuttgart who can learn a lot from Leipzig or even little Leverkusen who always compete well in the Bundesliga.
