    I am so happy to find out about this, I am tired of getting oud perfumes made for western noses who seem to be allergic to agarwood which I find addictive. Every time I experienced barnyard oud I fail in love for example "Oud Infini by Dusita" for the first two hours it is out of this world.

    Funny how something that isn't visible to the eyes can make a grown man smile and go "ooo". That's the magic of perfumes. My dad has loved them for nearly 50 years and now I have been enjoying them for about 2 decades. Love your candid energy and honest excitement.

    Another great video from you! Out of the 12 fragrances I have in my collection, Oud is an ingredient in eight of them. So i appreciated this one as well when i first put my nose on it. And yes, that juice is STRONG!

    Just got this about a month ago.
    I like it. Yes, floral facets.
    I have Dahn Oudh Al Shams too.
    I like that one better.

    what's up brother, just a quick question. is this similar to rasasi oudh estathney ? which one is better out of 2.

    • @mroz9391
      @mroz9391  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey buddy! In terms of overall appeal I am leaning a bit toward Estathney because it would be easier to wear while Mukhallat one takes time to settle down. Estathney is more easy going and more playfu and has more discernible supporting notes than Mukallat Shams which has really subtle nuances. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!! If you are looking for a mostly woody oud then Mukhallat might be better otherwise for something more rounded I would lean towards Esthatney.

      MrOz thanks for the reply, I'm going to take my chance with estathney. rasasi haven't disappointed me so far.

    Where is that accent from brother.
    If u don't mind what are u top ten Arabic niche brands.

      @mroz9391  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks for the feedback Maurice! The Accent is because of my West African and French language background. So far I am really enjoying the top tier offerings from Rasasi, Ajmal, Arabian Oud; and am looking into Al Haramain and ASQ. I am still new to the Arabic Niche brands :). What are your favorite Middle Eastern brands or perfumes?

    • @mauriceinfla
      @mauriceinfla 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not an full on expert in Arabic perfumes however these are a few I like. Sehr Al-Kalemat,Rasasi,The Fragrance Kitchen,Hind al Oud,and Yas Perfumes. I'll be a full on expert by the end of 2017 hopefully.
      I'll be opening a perfumery in Miami in a month. OSME is the name pronounced OS-MAY. Google Wynwood Arcade and take a look.

      Maurice Locke I have heard of Hind Al Oud but not Yas Perfumes! Thank you for sharing that info I will look into these two! Excited about your perfumery and what you'll carry. Great Mission as well - the part that got me: "our nose captures the world's life essences" .Cool building you'll be moving in!

      @@mauriceinfla I've only recently discovered your shop from TH-cam as I live in California. I'm 5 years late but your shop is beautiful and recently received my order of La Isla Blanca by Ramon Monegal which smells delicious. The samples included were equally exquisite. I appreciate you and your passion for perfumery.

    Oh man, you have me in-treeged! I adore ouds, from stanky barnyard to pungent smoky to medicinal cough syrup, and this sounds neat: A tamed oud! Middle Eastern frags can be challenging, but what a journey they take you on. Going to try for sure. Great vid, mahalos for the tip!

    • @mroz9391
      @mroz9391  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad to know you enjoy Ouds as well! What are your favorites at the moment? There are so many it would be nice to see what grabs your attention so far in that genre.

    • @jonkomatsu8192

      +MrOz Ooh, tried a bunch and still exploring.
      I have cycled through some of the safer ouds like Bond 's NY Oud (an oud freshie?), or Creed's Royal Oud or Lomani Intense Black (Huh? Where is the oud?). Those are tame but nice intros.
      Scentstory 24 Gold, but I prefer 24 Classic. Juliet Has a Gun Midnight Oud is acceptably medicinal. Jubilation XXV is a nice incensey oud. Tom Ford Oud Wood is just the right balance. But classic faves are probably the grand daddy YSL's M7, or any Montale like Aoud Black. Oh, and Nasomatto's Pardon!
      Really want to try Mona di Orio's Oud, any of the Xerjoff ouds, and also to explore some of the Middle Eastern ouds you have featured. Mahalos!

    Is it worth purchasing i really like oud perfume

    • @mroz9391
      @mroz9391  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends how much you can get it for. If you can get it for cheap it might be worth if if you like animalic ouds. For some good oud based fragrance I would save and get some of the ouds or fragrances from Areej Le Doree or Bortnikoff. They are spendy but I prefer to save for a while to get 1 or 2 great ouds/fragrance than buy bunch of fragrances just for the sake of it. Best way is to sample first. I hope that helps. Thanks!

      @@mroz9391 I usually wear Cambodian Oud Oils (Scent Salim), Does this smell similar to Cambodian or is it more barnyard/animalic?
