My Gosh Did This Ever Take Me Back To The Nineteen Hundreds - My Continued Education Landed Me In Sunny Sand Diego - Weekends Were Spent In TJ And Three Or More Days Of Holidaze Were Spent In Rosarito , Puerto Vallarta , And/Or Ensenada - Our Rooms Were Filthy Dirt Cheap , Meals Were Abundant , Buckets Of Beer Were Pennies On The Pesos , And The Warm Clear Waters Provided All Day Surf Sessions - And Of Course , Those Mariachi Bands Were One Of A Kind Depending On The Local Village's Theme - TJ Always Provided Us With Mariachi Bands On The Street Corners Next To The Massive Pig Roast Sandwich Makers - Fantastic Episode Here Today Boogie On Brother Man , Cheers
Thank you very much! I envy you for these great experiences! Unfortunately, I didn't get any closer to TJ than hearing Herb Alpert. I actually went to Texas once and Los Angeles twice, but I don't think that really counts in this context. A friend here worked in San Diego for two years (twenty years ago!) and he also told me about the wonderful, beer-fueled evenings on the beach. Thank you again, all the best! Cheers
