What a great resource. Thank you!
Looks more like the key of D. I IV V II
The key of this chord progression is not 100% clearly defined, you are right there. But does it make a practical difference if you play or improvise along with this progression? There are many 4-chord progressions that can be interpreted differently in terms of the key or tonic. And the different perspectives are not right or wrong, they are just different.
Nice
👍😎 Thank you and thank you for playing along!
Great! Can I find a long version somewhere?
Thank you for your question! Yes, there is of course a full-length version of this "short"! I even made "Country Blues" backing tracks in this style in all 12 keys. Here you can find the playlist with many different "Country Blues" backing tracks: th-cam.com/play/PLPY6Rb6f6GxSuUTkeL7GDiixtecwUibhz.html And here is the link to the "Country Blues" in B major, 188bpm, long version: th-cam.com/video/BUSEyoI4-eA/w-d-xo.html Thank you for playing along! 👍😎 Thank you very much! I'm glad that the track isn't too sweet for your taste! The description "Brilliantly Soft" is a very tasteful formulation. Thank you very much! I hope you have a peaceful and relaxing time. Cheers
"Almost romantic", I would say there is plenty of heart in this one my friend.

🦋 Thank you very much for your kind comment and for your good wishes! I am very pleased that you are enjoying my tracks! Yes, some keys are just a little more comfortable on the guitar than others. I am still practicing and trying things out myself. I wish you continued enjoyment and all the best, health, happiness and peace.
I'm getting a bit of a Seminole Wind vibe.
😎👍 Yes, you're right! I didn't know this "Seminole Wind" song and googled it. And yes, this song uses exactly these 4 chords, E minor, G, D and A, with one chord per bar, while in my country rock the harmonies only change every 2 bars. There are probably many other great songs based on exactly this chord sequence. I just think it's great how completely different and always new songs can be created from the same harmonic building blocks! Thank you for your comment and thank you for playing along! Have fun!
Hey RT, I am swingin off the Mandolin Tonight! Ha! Thank You. I hope all is well where ye BE. ❤💫

I'm very happy that you're having so much fun with these Bolero tracks! Yes, I can also lose myself in these circles of fifths and the comfortable but also stimulating rhythm! Thank you for playing along!
Wow, this is great!
👍😎 Thank you! The diatonic circle of fifths fascinated me so much that I made many different tracks based on this chord progression. Maybe you'd like to take a look! Have fun and thanks for playing along! th-cam.com/play/PLPY6Rb6f6GxRNA03vjoPNxth0KHah4h53.html

Ohhhh... Stevie Ray Vaughan approves from Heaven!!! 😁😁😁 Well done!!!
🦋Hello Ruben, thank you very much! I honestly had no idea who Mr. Vaughan was or is. I had to google it first. It happens again and again that I receive comments in which someone refers to a guitarist that I don't know. I admit that I don't know too many guitarists either. But many players seem to have a lot of fun with my tracks - so I'm doing something right! Best wishes from reinhold
E7 is not diatonic really
😎👍 You're absolutely right, of course! But without the G sharp we wouldn't have a dominant seventh chord! The harmonic minor scale exists for the same reason. I love the diatonic circle of fifths and its variations! There's even a playlist with lots of tracks in which I've used this chord progression. Thank you for your comment and for playing along! th-cam.com/play/PLPY6Rb6f6GxRNA03vjoPNxth0KHah4h53.html
@reinholdtracks yes sure, you're absolutely right, thanks for the comment ;) actually you still have the degree number 5 (relative to the I major) but ok it's not the dominant 7 of the minor ahah
Thank you for the feedback! 👍😎
Great stuff, thanks a lot.😊
😎👍 Thank you very much! Have fun!
Thanks for the up the neck chord equivalents, very useful. Thanks for posting.
😎👍 Thank you for your kind comment! I had already considered whether it might be too trivial to show these chord images in the videos. But sometimes when I'm selecting the images I find new or better-fitting chord variations. Have fun and thank you for playing along!

❤ RT, Breezy N Beautiful BT. Thank You. 💫
👍😎 Thank you very much! It's amazing what just two chords can do.
That is Dorian at work, but with modal interchange from Aeolian at the 13th and 14th chords (both are C major, however, in E dorian, it would be a C# diminished chord, so we borrow the C chord from Aeolian)
👍😎 Thank you for your analysis! I look at the chord progressions more from the perspective of the chord degrees and not so much in relation to the scales. But you are absolutely right! I hope you continue to enjoy my tracks!
❤ Hi RT. Thank you. 💫
🦋Thank you for playing along!
This is so good😊

Outstanding And Dig The Newer Format Well Doen , Cheers
😎👍 Thank you! I'm not quite sure yet whether the chord symbols make sense. But when I select them (in LOGIC) I keep finding new possibilities that I didn't know about, even for the simpler chords. You never stop learning!
Your backing tracks are awesome. Thank you. Can you make them play for 10 minutes? It would help us more beginning intermediates get used to targeting chords.
😎👍Thank you! Yes, the "right" length is a difficult question! At what point does it get boring? But I sometimes play the same track 5 or 10 times, simply because it's going well or because I want to try something new. Thank you very much and keep having fun!

what a sweet sound , I am a beginner but I love all your tracks and they help understand the music. Thanks so much please keep them coming.
😎👍 Thank you very much and thank you for playing along! Yes, that's exactly why I make these tracks!
Lotsa fun! - Love the transcribing to the Nashville Number System!!

Thank you. I would like to use this backing track for my upcoming video. It's about my old Gibson ES135 and my Headrush Prime. Great job 👍👍👍 and best wishes from Bavaria, Roger
