@@binchicken9206 This week I discovered if you're on later gen intel motherboards and update the BIOS like a 690 or 790, it gives the BIOS a new identifier serial # and windows deactivates.. From a BIOS update.. MS is really becoming a joke these days. I had to get another key to solve it, talk about pathetic diversity hires.
@@binchicken9206 Windows also says the error occurs if your Win recovery partition (WinRE) is under 250MB but mine is 509 MB and still got the error. Yours might be over 250 MB too, have you ever check it? So re-partitioning the system recovery space might not be a solution at the moment.

Hopefully you you resolved yours OK?

The reality is that this update is apparently not even needed for home edition as the info section of this video states. However, with that said, why roll it out for home edition if this is the case?

Don't do anything, many people who tried to 'fix' it deleted the hard drive. It's a Microsoft error, they will fix it. I think they already did and that update is now optional.

I have 2 Desktops, the older one installed that bloody update last month, the new PC keeps showing that error, It's a Microsoft glitch, you can fix it but it will delete many of your files, programs or even your whole hard drive. That's what some people wrote when they tried to fix it, you'll fix it OK, but you might loose data. I wouldn't risk it for that useless update.

The error I got is.. it's been there before I saw your video and after error fixed as per your video instructions. Use the Minitool Partition program to Move/Resize Partition on C drive and then add space to the Recovery Partition.
I've added 5GB's to that partition and the error persisted ;)
I still have problem after resizing
